Tips for a new UK sufferer
Hi, Its my first time on this site and I already feel some comfort in identifying with medications and symptoms. My RLS is causing me great sleep deprivation at present. Having various difficulties with pain, I have been a user for a number of years with Co-Codamol. 30mg/500mg. But...being a recovering

Advice on painkillers please?
I’ve had a headache for about 7 weeks now. I insist 1 headache as it just not let up at all. My GP told me that I should stop taking Co-dydramol tablets as my pain medication as I could “become addicted and they are probably causing my headaches”. He gave me a script for Amitriptyline (1 tablet before

Slipped disc and sciatica
Hi Everyone, hope you can offer some advice :) I slipped a disc in my lower back in 2013 soon after having my daughter, which an MRI scan confirmed but the surgeon recommended swimming and Pilates first as there are a lot of risks with having the operation and for my age he didn't think it was worth

Too much MIC B12 overwhelmed my system
Hello everyone, I am in need of some advice. A little background about me. I have had every symptom of a B12 deficiency for 10+ years. Only 5 days after my first B12 shot did I realize that the anxiety that I had had for the last 10 years was gone. I live in the States and here we have something called

Starting the Marty Hinz Amino Acid Protocol. New Dr.
Drove 2 hrs to see the new Dr today. It was well worth it. Finally a doctor that speaks our language, if you know what I mean. He has several patients on the amino acid protocol and they are having success with it. Very encouraging. All were worse than me when they started (my UPDRS is 33 on my worst

Hi Fibromyalgia sufferers. I am sick of the nasty side affects from drugs such as Tramadol , Co Codamol etc and decided to try 'Vaping' CBD oil. Can anyone tell me how they have got on with it, and a good stockist? It is SO expensive! Wish it was on the NHS!!! 😝

Ablation
I had my first ablation yesterday, the procedure went well and I was allowed home later that day. I am at home resting and being pampered by my husband 😁. As expected I am still in a fair bit of discomfort but especially across my chest by my shoulders, has anyone else experienced this? I am taking

Coughing
I have been coughing for no apparent reason for 8 months. I have finally attributed it to my bio-identical hormones which I have been taking for about 20 years. I have completely stopped taking my estrogen, dhea, testosterone and Progesterone. The cough has pretty much stopped. I was also on NTD 130

Confused about B12, iron and haemoglobin
Hi After 3 years of a whole heap of rubbish tests including scans and endoscopy I finally convinced gp to do B12 test (doc: 'it won't be low as you aren't anemic'). It was low. So B12 is 170 (187-883) Iron is 24 (20-200) - so apparently fine And haemoglobin is apparently fine - don't have figures. Had

Pneumonia and Pleurisy When does the pain go
Hello Last Monday I felt unwell and had the shakes, but went into work. Thought I could shake it of Tuesday so went into work again. Still had the shakes and started sweating. My work colleague took me to a walkin centre and I was given Co-Amoxiclav 125mg and 30 mg of co-codamol. I was told I had a chest
