Paracetamol

I can't take medication further than paracetamol and I hate taking that too often. I cannot stop completely as I have youngish children and a house to deal with. So I have a question...

I am awaiting a follow up appt with Respiratory consultant, and X-ray, I know my lungs are not functioning properly still, and the temple headaches are more or less constant…tho are lessened if I take regular paracetamol.

As an asthma sufferer I am unable to take any NSAID products, including ibuprofen gel or tablets I am currently taking paracetamol / codine but with little effect. Many thanks

It's been 5 months since I had my partial nephrectomy , all my scars are healed but it feels like a hot plate inside me sometimes and the pain is unbearable, I've had a word with my doctor and he said it was normal healing and just to take paracetamol, I also had a blood test for the electros and protein

Now I didn’t connect it to PMR so when I couldn’t get back to sleep I took Paracetamol. Not sure if this worked or I just fell asleep anyhow. So maybe eased by upping the Pred back to 6Mg. I am currently tapering down to 5.5Mg, but may have to go back up as the pain in my arms has returned.

I am doing some research on medication interactions with Venclexta, and I noticed that it seems to interact with a lot of common medications, including acetaminophen, ibuprofen, common stomach upset medications like the proton pump inhibitors (omeprazole), steroids commonly used for AIHA (prednisone)

Paracetamol and rehydration salts worked wonders here! However, that stubborn streak was what got us through it all and there was chocolate cake to celebrate! As for what's next, we plan to go for a run on Friday morning.

Is this due to the ‘numbness’ wearing off, I’m taking paracetamol (which Id stopped taking a couple of weeks ago) any other suggestions? Thank you

My rheumatologist is keen on my tapering another 1 mg shortly but the pain is so excruciating I am also taking paracetamol and Ibuprofen(naughty I know). I have done nothing to warrant this agony apart from reducing the steroids. I am tempted to return to 11 mg and ignore my rheumy.

Its so painful I need paracetamol and I'm breathing them them. Now I'm on alot of progesterone 6 pessaries a day and a 25mg shot. The thing is I have been on them for a while and the cramps didn't start till after the transfer.

I gave him a paracetamol for the shoulder pain and turn the fire on. Incidentally the Oxy meter which I have just purchased didn’t work on him at all although it did on me.

instead of taking paracetamol as she hates the taste of it (she’s now on liquid paracetamol). Is pain and aches common in MSA patients towards the end? We’ve been told my Nan is at the late stages and is classed as palliative. Thanks x

I am already on gabapentin and amitriptyline as well as what feels like continuous paracetamol and ibuprofen, nothing touches it

Previously maxing out on these + paracetamol and ibuprofen but have now reduced myself. Consequently, in a lot of pain. Recently developed pain in neck and shoulder which doesn’t budge. MRI shows bone Spurs on the C-spine.
