Continuous pain
Waiting for laparoscopy and changing to a combined pill. I'm in absolute agony continuously. I'm on gabapentin and mefenamic acid and paracetamol. I've been using a tens machine and hot water bottle. If any one has any suggestions to relieve pain I am really open at this point I'm just so fed up

Recent diagnosis
Hi everyone! I have only recently been diagnosed with endometriosis and am still new to the condition. I started having painful periods at the age of 11 and was always in and out of hospital due to abdominal pains. 10 years and 3 laparoscopies later at the age of 21, I was finally diagnosed with endometriosis

Tackling knee pain without injections or surgery
As a child I suffered incredible knee pain for a few years aged around 14. Doctors said growing pains, and my Dad used to rub my legs with wintergreen, sort of horse lineament I think. I played sport until I was 23 and was active all my life but aged around 70 I began to suffer very painful knees. I

Hyterscopy and miruena coil
Hello - like to know your experience of having a hyesterscopy - been told a few paracetamol all that is needed and also fit a miruena coil. Apparently I have Adenomyosis (as well as stage iv endo which I knew about) but wants to exclude womb cancer. Is this true it doesn’t hurt? Also any experiences

Pain so bad. Is A&E worth it?
Had to come home from work due to debilitating endo flare up pain. I am now in bed. I take my mefenamic acid three times a day but it does NOTHING for me when I have a flare up. Also had peppermint tea and have a scolding hot water bottle and wheat bag. Has anyone been to A&E in the UK with endo pain

Another query?
Just a thought. Yet another one. Can anyone out there help, I would be really grateful. After all these years still constantly looking for answers to my pain. Along with fibro, underactive thyroid, kidney disease and irritable bowel, plus all the other extras we get, has anyone experienced interstitial

GCA - Hit my first problem after reducing from 30mg to 25mg prednisolone. Advice please. Thank you
I have GCA diagnosed in May this year when I started on 60mg prednisolone. At first I was told to reduce by 10mg every 2weeks until I get down to 20mg and then 2.5mg every 2 weeks until I reach 10mg.but that was changed to a drop of 5mg every 2 weeks as I had symptoms on the first reduction. Paracetamol causes diarrhoea?!
Hi everyone, I have had IBS for 20 years and am fairly keyed up about it. I find that naturally I don’t react well to anti-inflammatory pain relief (such as ibuprofen) when unwell with other things, but I can’t seem to tolerate paracetamol either. It always triggers watery diarrhoea. I seem to be the

What are your symptoms before B12 is due.?Getting daily headaches.
Hi all, I haven't posted on here for some time. I have been having b12 injections every 12 weeks for about a year and a half now, and have noticed that 2 -3 weeks before my injection is due I start to feel lethargic and out of sorts. I have tried to get injections sooner than the 12 week mark but my

Joint pain/Bone pain with MF
Recently diagnosed with post ET MF, I have started to get aching in my knees and wrists/hands. I will be able to ask my consultant about it next week but I wondered if this is common with MF or possibly to do with Ruxolitinib. I'm not clear on what bone pain would feel like. It seems to happen more

Newly diagnosed as B12 deficient after suffering symptoms for at least 30+ years & possibly since childhood!
***Warning - Long post alert! I really appreciate anybody who makes it to the end & doubly appreciate anybody who replies! ;-) I have just been diagnosed as being B12 deficient & also Vit D deficient. I was told that my B12 was 76 & then 89 two weeks later & that a reading of 130 would be considered

Hi all, I’ve got such a bad nasal congestion to a point I can’t breathe it’s just so blocked ! I’ve tried vicks and steam inhalation. I’m certain I’ve got a head cold but I’m struggling and I’m 14 weeks pregnant. Any ideas or suggestion ? I have to admit I did take a paracetamol and it kinda of helped

Cannot cope with the cop out of excuses and the way you are treated if you cannot tolerate tablets like the Majority.
I have had a letter from my electro physiologist to my cardiologist stating that an ICD would not be appropriate in any situation in somebody who is unable to take any medication and had a sore arm last time she was in hospital via the BP monitor (Day 4 I asked for 1 Paracetamol as I have a very slight

Stitches- when will they stop hurting?!
During birth I tore in three places :( one low down which I think is quite the usual place but two tears right by my clitoris and urethra (arghh) which they had to get the surgeon to do due to where they are. I believe they were all second degree tears. I am now 2 weeks post birth. My questions are
