CABG3, Three weeks on.
The worst thing now is the chest sensitivity. It's like the worst sun burn you have ever had. When does this ease off? Paracetamol does nowt!

New! First referral to rheumatologist
Hi all, Question about whether I'm expecting too much? I've been lurking for a while as my symptoms resonated with many people on here and, having been referred by my less-than-great GP to see a rheumatologist, I have finally made an account. I have had pain in wrists for a long time, but summer 2021

Aspirin as a painkiller??
This is probably a very very dim question, but can you still use aspirin as a medicine if you're also taking it for ET?? I take 50mg daily and normally just take paracetamol as a painkiller but I have a hideous cold and trying to look after two sick kids too. Can I take aspirin complex??? I used to

Tramadol - Anxiety
Hi for my endo pain and pelvic pain I’ve been taking tramadol with paracetamol. I’ve been on this since getting the coil fitted but the pain has been more frequent. This may be stupid but I take 50mg x 1 or 2 tablets 2/3/4 times a day depending on my pain. I definitely wake up in agony in the mornings

Third shot side-effects.
I wasn't very fond of the getting the third COVID shot but my nephrologist slid a concern in me while I doubted if I should get it or not because I thought that two were enough. Now, my first two dosis were okay because I had no side-effects. I lowered my corticoids about 5 days before my vaccination

Nerve pain after years of nothing
5 years ago I had a vein cautorised in my left leg. While they were doing the op they damaged a nerve in my upper thigh and ever since I've had a numb patch on my thigh. It's kind of been like when you've been out in the cold and your skin is numb but you can still feel pressure. It's never bothered

Huge reaction to 4th jab!
As a 77 year old with CLL - diagnosed in 2003 and never treated - currently working in South Greece, and having had my previous jabs here, I managed(at last) to get my 4th Pfizer jab on mid-day Tuesday - 4 months after my third. After about 5 hours I started to feel ill. As I had felt grim after my

Tips for lung pain.
I was diagnosed a year ago with multiple bilateral pulmonary embolisms after having covid (link unable to be proven). I’m on apixaban and was getting better. Then I got covid a second time. CT scans show the clots have not dissolved, but got no worse thankfully. But now I am left with such lung pain

Hi All I was expecting to see the oncologist on Tuesday with the results of the further test on cells for mutations but the results haven't come back yet - so more waiting. Hopefully the results will be available in the next week or two. I know that having a new mutation is a long shot (there weren't

3.6cm thyroid nodule, fight to get it removed...
Hi all, Just wondering if anyone's been in a similar situation that can share some advice I have a nodule on my thyroid that's 3.6cm, I've had FNA and all came back OK but since had an iodine uptake scan and it showed the nodule is hot and effectively has caused the healthy part of my thyroid to switch

Anyone have Endo in their bladder?
Still struggling the low pelvic pain since my surgery in November. I'm back to backing my pill for 3 months and taking paracetamol hourly/daily until I see the consultant again in 4 months. The paracetamol routine has helped the pelvic pain but there's always a dullness and sort of a butter fly sensation

Pain relief
So frustrating for you I totally understand I have tried most things over the past 40 years. As pain comes from our brains most medications for pain will not work. The nerve blockers will help but side effects and gradually increasing dosage can turn you into a bit of a zombie, morphine and derivatives

Surgery yesterday
I had my laparoscopy and hysteroscopy yesterday and feeling very sore and bloated today. They’ve prescribed me codeine and told me to take paracetamol and ibuprofen too when needed. What can I do to help relieve the pain from the bloating? All my gynaecologist has told me is that I have a lot of endometriosis
