OHSS Recovery Time? Or Something else?
Hi All, Sorry for another moaning post but I’m just fed up. I’m still in pain inside my right hip. It’s a constant dull ache, paracetamol doesn’t touch it. I had my egg retrieval on the 4th of November, spent a week in hospital with OHSS. Since coming home I’ve had a bleed and assumed the pain would

Update on Sexy Stockings
Well since my last post things have not improved, they have continued to get worse to the point that the GP under the advice of the Rheumy nurse that I spoke to have changed my pain meds three different times, now I am on Tramadol and Paracetamol so I spend quite a lot of my time asleep as I feel so

High alkaline phosphatase
I was mostly quite pleased with my blood results today and I don't need a transfusion this week. However, my liver function is not so great with the alkaline phosphatase having increased to 375 after going down at my last blood test. It was one of the haematology nurses that told me and when I was concerned

GCA pain and Paracetamol
Have had PMR for eleven months. Now slow tapering from 9mg to 8mg and going quite well. Just to mention, also: I have been tense for some time and would not be surprised if I have anxiety pain. Yesterday I developed a new type of headache. Back of the neck on left side, radiates up to scalp. I've had

Hot head!
Hello All, Something that I've forgotten to ask, and has now become a more frequent 'thing' is a hot head. J started mentioning having patches of hotness inside her head, even describing it as a kind of menthal heat. It's become a sensation that now covers her head and occurs more frequently ...about

Lap yesterday
Hi everyone! So I had my lap yesterday and my consultant said she found some endometriosis but didn’t tell me where! She said it’s stage 2 and I will have a telephone conversation to go over it in more detail. She did diothermy to kill the tissue and said it went well. I had to stay in because I was

Sore hip
I have hurt my left hip whilst running last week. I have rested as much as possible, and have been taking anti inflammatory and paracetamol, but with little effect. I always stretch and warm up/down. Any advice?

Hello, I’m 9dp5dt and have had some really severe cramping tonight, last night and a few nights ago. It only lasted 10-20 mins each time, but was so severe tonight that I felt sick and had chills. I have taken two paracetamol and a shower and that seems to fix it. I’m on progesterone pessaries and
