Seemingly not for the better at present.

Head fragility. Feels like I've just hit it hard on a wall.but constant

Low key constant tinnitus back

Numb nose

Pain above ears and back of skull

Crunchy neck and head

A drugged feeling with a feeling of jarred body like 'proper flu' ( no temperature)

I however managed to walk half a mile in a fairly straight line??

To bed 1830 as felt too heady and had to avoid lights.

I can only think vestibular disturbance. Back pain is new.

Tbh getting me down as no respite. Had a quiet week too.

Had an injection 3 days ago and it was as though I'd not had it . Very odd. Only on b12 injections at present and sometimes paracetamol or ibuprofen. Managed without for most of this month.

Anybody had /having these symptoms? Last night concerned .

Hi Nackapan sorry I can’t offer any constructive advice to you but to me it honestly sounds like your suffering from chemical allergies. You say you managed to walk a good distance ,was this outside in the fresh air? I would be routing around indoors to make sure you had no plug ins and were using no chemical sprays anywhere in the house.

I can’t even have an air freshener in the house or I get similar symtoms to the ones you describe my son is the same, essential oils or scented creams kill me I can’t use scented shower gel or I get breast pain,I don't even spray perfume these days.Yesterday I followed a tip to pierce an oregano oil capsule and smear it over my mask as I struggle terribly with wearing one,god it nearly dropped me I really reacted badly to that my lungs were burning my mouth and top lip felt really numb,I’m so allergic to modern life now ,it’s sometimes hard to grasp the effect everyday things that don’t bother my husband almost kill me.

If I was you I would do an elimination process it won’t hurt you can only benefit as this is no way to get through your days,no smelly stuff anywhere regardless of how good the labelling says it is for you,try it for a few days and get plenty fresh air even if it’s just sitting at an open window with a hot water bottle ,worth a try? Take care xx

Thank you for your kind thoughts.

I'm convinced today I'm either sugfering from Occipital neuralgia or vestibular migraines as they both involve severe light sensitivity as well.An aftermath of severe neurological symptoms virtigo from b12 deficiency and or post concussion. I think mainly b12 deficiency. My neck remains a problem a d I think the backache all part of it. I was told with vertigo you uses every muscle in your neck to stay upright I'm feeling much better this afternoon . It was very scary ladt night. I feared I was going back to very dark place. Literally had to be in the dark and had tremors. Nausea and horrid skull pains. When it turned into a headache this morning more manageable. On pain killers but hey ho.

The neurologist did say a vestibular disturbance and no quick fix.He only offered propranolol. I didnt have that .

I had an awful headache last Friday and been struggling since .

I think having to be in some artificial light in the evenings not helping! Yesterday I walked into a room where my husband was still at work with a cup of tea ,my head had a sudden pain at the back. I didnt at first know why . I'd walked into a room with a light on! It makes me stagger. Tea stayed in the cup lol

No idea how I'm supposed to deal with these ongoing symptoms. I have essential oils burning g all of the time When I was very poorly and in alot of pain I'd have them over my face. They give relief.

I dont have air fresheners or plug in things. I uses zflora in water in a water spray.

Must be so difficult for you and your son to be so allergic. There are as many artificial smells as there are lights!!

I was just surprised I managed a short walk as a distracting from pain and balance fairly okay??

Anyway keep hoping my head will eventually settle. Hard to know what to do without tv or a book or being in the lights of an evening. They are so long at present. I used to love being cosy at this time of year in front of the tv with a glass of wine. Not much to hope for lol.

Hope you find a solution your mask. Take care and thanks for the reply.

Hi Nackapan,

I saw another member refer to this site on a different posting; purehealthclinic.co.uk

Not sure if you're aware of it but there's an interesting article there about how a brain injury can cause lots of problems resulting in an inflammatory immune condition/response that can bring on lots of symptoms. Very similar to what you seem to be experiencing!

I think you've said in the past that you had a bad fall hitting your head on concrete; so it might be useful for you to have a read or listen depending which would be less uncomfortable for you? There is quite a bit of information so you may be better looking at it in small parts.

I don't have any connections to the site nor am I a medic or an expert of any kind! But it may offer some insight, possibly?

I've tried to provide links to the parts that may be helpful to you but I'm not a particularly computer savvy person so it may not work?

purehealthclinic.co.uk/2020...

purehealthclinic.co.uk/2019...

The brain fact sheet is very long but it may be helpful to have a brief look if you feel well enough.

Hope you're having a better day than when you posted here?

Take care x

Thank you. I was just reading about vestibular disorders that include light sensitivity. My first symptom that caused the most problems was vertigo. Thud can be caused by b12 deficiency which was the only diagnosis I got thus happened 5 weeks after bad fall (caused by b12 def. ) as had several. Will read in bits. Very helpful.
