Anxiety is a thief
Confession: I'm so consumed by anxiety that I'm not really living. I'm just existing. I don't feel pleasure or joy or hope or peace. I'm always in turmoil and unable to cope with basic life. I hate this feeling. Sadly, I want to weep but I'm so afraid it will cause a panic attack that I don't. Panic

Marks caused by Warfarin??
I don't think I have posted about this before, but every now and then (for no reason that I can specify!) I get a mark somewhere on my forehead. It looks a cross between a large freckle and a mole, except its more red in colour than a freckle would be. It fades after a couple of days, so I am not unduly

Friends
This weekend I was going to hang out with two different friends, one on Friday and one on Saturday. I was pretty excited for it because I never hang out with my friends. I never get invited to do things, and I can’t have anyone over at my house or have my dad drive us to do things. I don’t like to invite

HORMONE INHIBITORS AND BONE LOSS
Hi to all you lovely ladies and wishing you all a healthy and happy 2019. I am a low grader and am currently on Aromasin. Previously I have been on Letrozole. They are both hormone inhibitors. I have bone loss. Has anybody else experienced this, either osteopenia or osteoporosis and what treatment

Past 2 months
Hello I am new to the forum, this battle of panic attacks has been very dreading and am in constant fear of having one every single day. I have been on a few medications that have had horrid side effects. Which in turn has left me feeling depressed now. I have 5 kids and started a new job 3 months ago

Adult children
Anyone here care to engage in a discussion about adult children being a source of anxiety. This was the case for me 10 years ago and my first downward spiral. The youngest went off to college and made a series of poor decisions. Most things were those that many parents would chalk up to rights of

Anxiety and panic attacks without medications
I have a doubt. Since I read Clare Weeks book "Self-help with your nerves" I have learn to deal with my anxiety and panic attacks in a "let it come, ride it and back to normal, without taking medication and so far has worked for me. So when I sense a panic attack or anxiety and my heart still pounding

Don’t feel right
For the past year I just haven’t felt normal. A little under a year ago I had a panic attack at school and then I stopped feeling like myself. I’ve become depressed and anxious nearly all the time. I constantly check to see if I feel normal. I’ve been on a few antidepressants and recently started a new

Feeling tired
I woke up in the middle of the night having a panic attack. I was able to talk myself through it and woke up this morning with my head spinning and then comes a huge panic attack and I don’t know what to do. They just keep coming and I am so scared and nervous that I may really need to go to the ER because

Increasing anxiety
Hello, I joined this group because I’ve been having a hard time articulating to those around me how my anxiety has gotten worse of recent. I was an anxious child who grew into an overly anxious adult. While it’s always been hard to sleep and hard to stop runaway worried thoughts, it’s recently become

Getting too close to the edge
Hello everyone, The past 48 hrs have been very rough for me. I won't go into the story behind it, but I have been on the verge of panic all day. I had a panic attack last night. I normally take a Klonopin twice a month and I had two yesterday and just took one tonight. If this keeps going, I will

Petrified of SSRI and sexual side effects
Hi, this post may be more damaging than good, but I want a variety of responses...so, my doctor is trying to put me on Lexapro 10mg for anxiety. I've had a rough few months and things seem to keep piling on. I tried bupropion 150mg XL and it drove me up a wall after 5 days and I had two major panic attacks

Anxiety attack whilst running?
Hello, I was wondering if anyone has faced this sort of problem before and how they overcame it because I’ve rather reached a stumbling block! I have a horrible anxiety disorder which I have been working on destroying for a couple of years now, and I’ve decided to try and do the couch to 5k programme

Out of the blue panic attack?
It feels weird to put this out there in internet land, but, I had what the ER doc said was most likely a panic attack. I was in a store with my wife, when i started to feel weird/off. I got lightheaded, pains in my chest...arm tingling...and was freaking out. I wasn't breathing fast but couldn't really
