TantaAnna update post sixth ablation
Going to have a
pacemaker
implanted this Friday! My journey continues, seeking QOL to improve, not good for over four months. Had six ablation (for atrial tachycardia) with six spots ablated by Texas Dr. I still have fluctuations in heart rate changing minute to minute almost., sitting still.

anyone heard of long p wave
had my
pacemaker
in on Friday. Still in hospital with New med trial is bisoprolol, flecainide, amlodipine, xarelto. They say the flecainide is causing long p wave- I was taken off of flecainide in 2019 , but I thought it was for long qt wave.

Pacemaker Check
So if I do get
pacemaker
4 it’ll be an 80th birthday present. Of course, all manner of other things may happen between now and then … The battery longevity is probably helped by the amount of the
pacemaker
is working to support my slow heart.

pacemaker and electric heat pads
I have a Medtronic
pacemaker
and , currently a bad back. Bought an electric heat pad today from Argos (Dreamland Intelliheat) and although there’s nothing on the outside of the box the instruction leaflet inside says it’s not to be used if you have a
pacemaker
.

Can My Pacemaker Stop an AF Episode?
I've had my
pacemaker
for six years, to prevent low heart beat caused by the high bb dose I'm on. It's checked at the PM clinic every year. I went there yesterday. I've been having a lot of AF and have been referred back to Cardio.

Second opinion
Hi, I asked for a second opinion with another cardiologist following ongoing symptoms since my ablation carried out a year ago which ended up with me having a
pacemaker
fitted due to AV node ablation.

Unexpected reason for gp appointment
happened after having a
pacemaker
, basically I woke up in the early hours with heart attack symptoms , I’d had a lead go through my heart wall , I needed both leads replaced just a week after having my
pacemaker
then that led to a severe heart infection that had got to a life threatening stage and

Specialty to start with?
I can't have an MRI due to
pacemaker
. I saw TA's comment the other day about having a CT-scan/bone scan before a biopsy and it got me to thinking that maybe I should have started off with a RO from the very beginning.

Atrial Fibrillation
Hi, I have suffered with AF since 2018 resulting in 4 cardioversions and 3 ablations (the last was on Friday 17th May and was an AV node ablation linked with connection of a previously implanted
Pacemaker
. I had hoped that I would be feeling great, no breathlessness.

Update on CPET appointment
nice guys did my test , when they did the breathing tests before going on the treadmill they told me my airways were narrower, when I was attached to the heart monitor they were watching the ecg in silence for a few minutes which made me wonder if there was something wrong , they then asked if I had a

Unable to obtain MRI either NHS or through
In my case I had a permanent
pacemaker
and that comes straight into into your mind. I had
pacemaker
after year 2000 and that was definitely safe as it was MRI compatible.
