Hi, I have suffered with AF since 2018 resulting in 4 cardioversions and 3 ablations (the last was on Friday 17th May and was an AV node ablation linked with connection of a previously implanted Pacemaker. I had hoped that I would be feeling great, no breathlessness. Unfortunately that is not the case and I appreciate it is early days but I am so keen to file away this heart problem as I have vasculitis to deal with. My heart rate has been set at 80 and I phoned the device clinic to inform them that I am not feeling good and still quite breathless. I have an appointment at the beginning of June and was told I should wait until then when the rate will be reduced. I guess its a question of trial and error but really hope to get some energy back and be able to enjoy walking again. I wonder whether this is all familiar to other members?

Give it time. Your heart has had quite an ordeal and will need nurturing for a while. Patience!
