Pacemaker implanted.
After 2 years of considering it, I finally had my
pacemaker
implanted yesterday. Have to stay a couple of days at the hospital as the medicines and machine learn to work together. Looking forward to a new and peaceful rhythm now!

Tens machine
Good Morning, Could i ask if using a tens is considered safe if you have Afib.I know that it is not recommended if you have any implants like
pacemaker
etc, but if not, is it O.K. for relieving muscle pain?

Oligometastatic PCa - There’s Hope!!
(Also had a
pacemaker
installed a few months ago - the radiation apparently caused some issues with my heart rate not going above 108 bpm. Highly recommend Cleveland Clinic for heart issues.) That brings me to today. Just left my doctor’s office and I am officially starting my ADT holiday today!

Pacemaker implant imminent..
A
pacemaker
is going to be the likely treatment. How have folks faired with the procedure, recovery and life post implant? Am pleased in a way as at least its not just in my mind!

Bisoprolol
I had a CRT
pacemaker
fitted 6 weeks ago. One week after the procedure I was started on a low dose of Bisoprolol. Over the next 4 weeks this dose as increased 4 times up to my present dose. I noticed that on the lower dose I started to feel lightheaded and at times a little dizzy.

Pacemaker for AF
I’m 87 years of age, with AF and a fast heart rate not adequately controlled by Bisoprolol 5mg twice a day. After a catheter ablation which was successful for a few months I’ve been offered a pace and ablate procedure at LHCH Liverpool. Will I have better energy, no light headedness. Or breathlessness

Pacemaker, finally, in 3 weeks
They have finally decided on implanting a
pacemaker
in early Jan. I'm terrified and relieved in the same breath. Any experience with the surgery? Any tips on making it easier? Thank you in advance!

New Pacemaker Tomorrow
Hi, I’m having a new
pacemaker
tomorrow and can’t take my own advice about looking ahead instead of dwelling on the procedure! Why is it so hard to do the sensible things like not stressing about it?

Pacemaker for atrial fibrillation
My AF causes me to have fast heart rates which are not controlled by maximum dose of Bisoprolol 10 mg a day. Being 87 years of age and after one catheter ablation which only gave me 4-5 months of sinus rhythm it’s been decided to do a pace and ablate procedure next week. My worry is whether my symptoms

Possible AV node ablation due to conflict between my pacemaker and my own cardiac electric circuit. Pacemaker for complete heart block.
If I have the ablation then I will be 100% dependant on the
pacemaker
. Is there by chance anyone who has had or having this difficult decision to make.
