Started on bisoprolol
Since taking the beta blockers I’ve been getting a tapping sensation near to my
pacemaker
, I’ve had it before but it’s happening lots more , my cardiologist said I wouldn’t feel the
pacemaker
working but I’m curious what the tapping is .

Should I be getting pain by my Pacemaker
Pacing team said everything looks ok so can’t be the
pacemaker
not working as it should . I have heart pauses and Tachy/Brady . How long do I wait for my appointment as I’m getting a bit concerned over my symptoms . I’ve had to start taking codeine for the pain .

Anxiety or possible heart rate problem
I have a dual chamber
pacemaker
fitted last November . I’m reluctant to ask for medical advice if I get any new symptoms as I fear I will just be told it’s anxiety 😢

Pacemaker moving!
I had my
pacemaker
moved last year during OHS as it had moved and was catching on bone towards my shoulder. Now it has moved in other direction and I can feel it rubbing on bone the other side and when I turn on my side in bed I can get my fingers under it.

orthostatic hypotension
His standing blood pressure is often 68/43 and 70/43.He does have heart disease and recently had a
pacemaker
inserted. He does well when it is around 70/60. Thankfully he only has a little short term memory issues that has been very stable. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Update
Hi, I had my
pacemaker
implanted at the end of March and was suffering insomnia due, I think, to the meds. However, I am pleased to report that I am now sleeping much better. I had my follow-up appt at hospital and was given a monitor to place beside my bed.

Turmeric
My last INR readings are 2.5 2.4 and2.2 which seem quite normal to me, do not want to take any chances with my AFib as it’s behaved itself well since my new
pacemaker
was installed, however my blood pressure did rocket it’s better now as my Doctor increased my Ramipril to 7 mgs daily.

18 Years of Treatment and still getting worse
He has had over 15 procedures and the last ablation put him on a
Pacemaker
. He has EDS ( Ehlers-Danlos syndrome) in addition which effects the Heart. His pathways keep reconnecting and it is a viscous cycle. He has seen some of the best cardiologists in California and he continues to get worse.

Pacemaker
I was in intensive care until my Apixaban wore off and they implanted a
pacemaker
on Tuesday. I was told my heart was stopping for 10 seconds at a time. I am home now and feeling very reassured that my heart doesn't drop below 60bpm. I can now take my AF mess without worrying.
