I am wondering if a
Pacemaker
could control the AF and ensure a steady, regular heartbeat irrespective of what is happening in my neck? Does anyone suffer from or know of this type of situation please? Thank you, Tone 35

HF Going in the Right Direction
Saying that my
Pacemaker
still needs new batteries before too long, so who knows. I'm still awaiting Rehab, but, in the meantime I'm doing the BHF Cardio Rehab Levels 3 and 4 on You Tube every couple of days which I find good exercise.

Ascending Aortic Aneurysm
In hospital waiting for a
Pacemaker
to be fitted due to my AF and had an Echo which has just picked up that my Ascending Aortic Aneurysm has gone from 2.8 cm on my last Echo in 2019 to 3.7cm yesterday. Should I be concerned? Any thoughts much appreciated , or am I worrying over nothing?

I’ve been told fitting a
pacemaker
maybe the answer to my permanent AF. Does anyone who had AF have experience of this solution?

I have been on Healthunlocked for 3 years because in the same week nearly 4 years ago I found out I needed a
pacemaker
for low heart rate and also had severe copd. Which really worried me.

Revitive with a mechanical valve
I know they’re not recommended for people with a
pacemaker
but does anyone out there with a mechanical value have one? I would ask my cardiologist but don’t have an appointment until next year and of course, this warm weather makes it worse. Thanks all

An example of excellent NHS care
He was rushed to St Mary's Paddington, where he had a
pacemaker
fitted within 24 h and was home very tired of course but well within three days.

pacemaker and a fib
In March this year I was given a dual chamber
pacemaker
. I have had no A Fib episodes since until this morning when I woke up with it thumping away. Disappointing but I suppose it had to happen. My question relates to my heart rate.

Any advice on Lead extraction op welcome please
I know fitting
pacemaker
is easier and that part doesnt worry me. What worries me is the risk factor as it appears quite an intensive operation to remove leads and repair any damage. Also will the
pacemaker
regulate my heart sufficiently to get me off the meds?

Bisoprolol problems
I've even been told maybe
pacemaker
will be fitted at some point. I'm waiting for the heart issues to be sorted to be listed for liver transplant. But all the issues is setting it back now the very low resting rate of 30's is causing problems I sure its Bisoprolol. Edit.
