Update from my CPET yesterday , two really nice guys did my test , when they did the breathing tests before going on the treadmill they told me my airways were narrower, when I was attached to the heart monitor they were watching the ecg in silence for a few minutes which made me wonder if there was something wrong , they then asked if I had a pacemaker . I managed 10 minutes on the treadmill before I went so dizzy and shaky sbd things went a bit blurry , they could see my hands and arms visibly shaking. I’ve had that happen once after a rather brisk walk to the school . It soon passed once I’d sat down . I didn’t get any feeling that my heart was pounding but I did get really breathless a few times during the test where I couldn’t speak to respond to their questions . Legs ache a bit today !! Have a lovely weekend , it’s a beautiful start to the day , so quiet , just the birds singing, sun is shining in a perfect blue sky .

Update on CPET appointment
glad it’s over and done with for you and all results come back positive. I know it’s so scary having all these tests done then waiting results, you sound happy and positive this morning in your lovely surroundings. 🤗👏🏻
Thank you , I’d got up early to let the dogs out then enjoyed just relaxing in bed listening to the birds , it’s fairly peaceful where we live . Hope you’re having a lovely weekend xx
I had my friends dog overnight, I went down at 5 made a cuppa put her out then came back and been searching on line for something or somewhere to book for Xmas !!!!! 🤔 No idea what to do. Beautiful sunny morning here thought I’d walk through the woods with dog and realised they never left her lead, hope there’s some rope in the garage 🙄 enjoy your weekend I’m glad you seem happier now xx
glad to hear your test went ahead and was ok. Whilst it brought on symptoms it’s weirdly a good thing they could see what you experience.
Maybe what was missing was that “parental stress” we all know and love of getting kids out the door in the morning (like herding cats) on time before you walk to school and get the pounding heart? 😂
fingers crossed for quick results / appointment.
Enjoy this sunny day ❤️
Thank you , I was hoping the test would bring on my symptoms so they could see what happens , love your comment about herding cats 🤣 I have an appointment in august with the respiratory consultant who requested the test , my cardiologist said he’d see me after I’d had the test and depending on the outcome he’d refer me to action heart fur a bit of rehab after having pericarditis . Hope you’re enjoying this beautiful weather too, I love days like this x
One step closer to getting a diagnosis hopefully 🤞🏽
I know the symptoms you were experiencing on the treadmill were probably scary however, it was likely a good thing that the doctors were able to see your reaction in order to make a more accurate and informed diagnosis.
Hope you can get some rest in this weekend and enjoy the sunshine while you’re at it.
