W9R2: At the end of the storm is a golden sky
Time: 7.40am. Weather: 14°C, broken cloud, breezy, wet underfoot There's nothing penultimate about this one. The target is in sight. As I mentioned yesterday, I took an extra rest day due to Storm Francis and a different sort of runs than one would usually discuss here. It's a nice bright cool

Will wearing earplugs to sleep make T worse?
Hi I’m still only three months in to suffering from T and as it started during lockdown it’s been difficult to speak to a doctor or other sufferers face to face which has made the situation all the more scarier. After suffering from a constant loud roar 24/7 for two months where I wanted to check out

Ear wax / tinnitus
I think I may have a build up of ear wax as when I swallow food or just saliva my ears pop a bit. Has anyone found that removing ear wax has helped their tinnitus or made it worse? Thanks in advance for any replies

Nocturnal Migranes
Hi Everyone, I know many of us suffer from severe headaches, but just wondered if any of you routinely suffer from them from late evening into the night? I have developed a horrific routine of feeling the pain coming through from about 8pm every night and by 10.30-11 I am in agony, can't see straight

Mask anger
This post is partly inspired by a recent posting about masks in supermarkets. It unfortunately won't show me in a particularly good light but I feel a need to get things off my chest. The UK governments have recently introduced legislation making wearing of face coverings compulsory in certain situations

Hello. I posted on here a month ago asking for advice before an endo appointment. I was feeling very poorly - a lot of joint pain, brain fog, falling over, dizzy, ears ringing etc. Your advice was really helpful, thank you. I ended up having levothyroxine increased from 50 to 75mcg, liothyrinine

Hi guys. I had treatment for endo last August, I also had a IDU inserted during this procedure. Everything was great until December when the pain started to return, I saw my consultant again in February who suspected Adenomyosis-the treatment plan for this is not something I am ready for being only 29

Tinnitus......
Hi all, I'm writing this post on behalf of my mother - she is 70 with Diabetes and Arthritis, but since 2018 has been experiencing tinnitus. She says it's constant and is always saying she can hear a noise, which sounds like a machine - a sort of deep, rumbling noise. I am unable to hear this myself,

Hello Bad day yesterday again, never rains when it pores, I had my hearing test yesterday and it came back that I was moderate to serve death. Ive also now decided to have all my hair cut off so it would be easy for me to do, as I'm having really bad pains in my wrist. I keep having panic attacks as

Last Saturday I did a slow run for an hour, keeping in the Zone 3 heart rate zone. I enjoyed it so much that I did the same thing today. Because I had adjusted my maximum heart rate in the settings since my last run, I was running very slightly faster as I tried to keep in the middle of the zone. Towards

Distorted hearing following Micro Suction
Hi, hoping for some reassurance(hope!) that my current situation is not permanent. I am 63 and retired and have had hearing aids since 2016, day to day they didnt really work for me nor did I need them, so I generally just used them to watch TV in the evening. Late 2019 and things got a bit worse and

Consolidation Run 7
I realised as I got up this morning that it was already warm. My plan of doing a faster, shorter run was postponed until a cooler morning, as I decided to just go for a 30 minute run! Maybe that was a mistake. I felt a bit disheartened with this run. Yes, I ran 4K and even got a PB for 1 km (7:27) but

Balance
I thought it was just BPPV, but my morning vertigo and balance issues have stayed all morning. I brought out the Rollator and have taken Dramamine, but do you all have any other suggestions? I'm determined not to fall. If it's still with me by Monday, I'll call the neurologist. I do have a set of
