new to the big T
so, where do i start? I went deaf one afternoon back in january, along with pain under my eye, just like you get with sinusitis. I had a shower later and managed to get water in that ear (to the point where i had to tilt my head and tap to get it out) and since then i noticed a slight ring in that ear

Hand twitching or jerking??
Hi need some opinions here. My hand often jerks. I can be holding something and whammo it flies out of my hand! I could be on my phone like right now and my fingers are hitting out other letters. Very annoying. My daughter says it’s my meds. I take Lyrica, yet it doesn’t happen everyday. The only

Severely dry eyes and awful light sensitivity
Hi All, am new here, having just been diagnosed with SS. Just wondered if there's anyone here with dry/light sensitive eyes as their worst symptom. Mine is so bad I can no longer work outside my home. Even posting this message is a nightmare as my eyes are screaming at me to stop 😖....just wondered

Coming off prednisolone
I have Hashi's. I had an ear problem (deafness and tinnitus) which turned out to be simple wax, now removed. However, prior to diagnosis, my GP sought advice from the ENT clinic who suggested prednisolone for 6 days - 60mg tapering down to 10mg. Their view was that this could be an inner ear problem

Selegiline and the CHEESE REACTION
I've been taking Selegiline for the past two months and have had halfway decent results with it. Not great but slight improvement all around. I am taking 5mg two times per day. In recent weeks Ive been getting bad headaches, whereas I never got them in the past. After some careful figuring, I figured

I feel like the ground is moving underneath my feet.
Hello, everyone. My name is Destiny. Im an 18 year old girl. Lately I’ve been feeling as if though the ground is moving under my feet. I went to the ER, Doctor asked me about my symptoms, he says it’s vertigo...But here’s the thing: I don’t feel as if my surrounding are spinning and I don’t feel dizzy

Vertigo when tired
Does anyone else get vertigo when they lack sleep or are tired? My neck muscles are super tight, but way worse when tired and I get vertigo and head pressure, only when I’m supperrrrr tired. Anyone have any tips? It could be my muscles plus lack of sleep, so any neck/vertigo advise is welcome! I’ve tried

'Fessing up
Just in case you all thought I was boasting with my last couple of posts (and honestly, I probably was crowing a bit simply because no one else would notice), now comes the accounting. Remember the spoon theory? The one that posits that on any given day we have x number of energy units or spoons? Well

Denial
I was diagnosed with eosinophilic asthma nearly two years ago. I am on mepo and down to 5 mg of pred a day. However the mepo is not as good as a high dose of steroids - I struggle to do things that I used to - I used to love exercise but now it is so much of an issue that I hate it. I am a bobby - I

Lamotrigine - help with mood?
Lamotrigine is a medicine that can be prescribed to prevent seizures. But also it may help your mood after a brain injury. Has anyone taken Lamotrigine and found it has helped with mood? and in what way has it made a difference?

General opinion
I've been having a sense of fullness in my left ear for the past 7 weeks with depleting hearing loss. My left eye gets dry now and again, and i have dizzy spells now and again and just recently i've been so tired. I have also had some confusion especially typing words with the letters in the wrong place

Middle Ear Infection Link with Tinnitus
I have massive sympathy for anyone that suffers from ringing in the ears as I have seemed to have developed this myself following on from a sinus infection where had seemed to had spread into my middle ear cavities through the tube that connects the ear and throat (Eustacian Tube Dysfucntion). I am not
