I've been having a sense of fullness in my left ear for the past 7 weeks with depleting hearing loss. My left eye gets dry now and again, and i have dizzy spells now and again and just recently i've been so tired. I have also had some confusion especially typing words with the letters in the wrong place! My GP has checked my ear and there's no sign of an infection, but gave me antibiotics just incase, which didnt work. So he's sending me to ENT and for an MRI, which is next week. He mentioned an Acoustic Nueroma and told me not to worry. I do have Trigeminal Nueralgia on my left side but just wanted to know people's thoughts as this forum has more experience than me.

Also tinnitus.. ot the ringing in the ear, but i can hear my heart beat.. It's so annoying!
It could be a few things, but your symptoms do sound like an AN - particularly the tinnitus. Have you had any hearing loss?
If it turns out to be an AN, don’t freak out. They’re always benign, slow growing, and you could just be in watch and wait for years, maybe forever!
Mine started over 15 years ago in my cochlear, so I went deaf with tinnitus instantly. I had surgery to remove a pretty small one (1.7cm x 1.5cm) 12 days ago and am getting better every day.
Whatever it ends up being, it’s always better to know than not know.
Good luck with everything x
Many thanks for your reply, I really appreciate it. My hearing has depleted on my left side. I can still hear out of it but the sounds are low and distant. And I hope you recover soon. It’s never nice having any type of operation let alone Brain surgery. All the best.
