Methotrexate- your experience
Now having been on Meth, for 3 days I'm experiencing extreme fatigue and pain in new places (back right side, calves, forearms) I've cheated, in my mind, by taking my
opiates
, & slapping on a lidocaine patch. Please share your experience, explain if worthwhile to push through.

Depressed of waking up everyday to suffer in pain..
I want My pain managed without having to be on such strong
opiates
everyday. Everyone looks at me like they understand but I know they truly don't, at this point I am on antidepressants and very alone with this disease aswell.

Living in fear of what is to come
Also an endless line of
opiates
. I have been on those for fifteen years. In an effort to gain some control, I ordered my genome via 23and me. It was the best investment I have ever made. With the raw data I have sites which interpreted that data.

Pressure and pain on left side
I have been on
opiates
for pain. Now my insurance doesn't want to pay for it. I am afraid of not being able to stand pain or function. If I could get diagnosed and it was fixed that would be the best scenario. I wish doctors cared more for their patients suffering. What to do??

5 HTP and L Tryptophan for withdrawal relief?
Just come across these substances as aids mainly for opiate withdrawal. But wonder if they would have a place in all the withdrawal situations we come across on this site? If anyone just googles them , a load of sites come up. They seem to be easily available on both sides of the pond. Looking forward

Giving up on Western world meds....
Now I sit here today, still in pain, and addicted to
opiates
. I have managed to get down to 6 Tramadol as long as someone holds them for me and only dispenses what I need for the day.

What difference does it make anyway??
Really seems hurtful to call people who take
opiates
for pain drug addicts. We get enough of that and think we should be supportive of one another on this site. UK deals with people in pain and drug addicted far better than we do.

Bewildered!
My husband has just been diagnosed with a preliminary diagnosis of MCI . He then had a further scan because the previous one had shown up shrinkage of the brain in the cerebellum ? However now he has another appointment to get further results but his appointment isn't until May ... we just feel that

Aspirin
Of course, these are controlled drugs (
opiates
) but I have never abused them. They saved my life; without them I would have left this life years ago.

severe Anxiety, Depression and pain
A pain clinic put her on
opiates
and between the two drugs and no diagnosis her mental state has gotten worse. Now they say she has a personality disorder. She has tried to kill herself several times and starting last week she is now receiving Shock Therapy treatments for the depression.

Bacterial meningitis sufferer
This was very hard for me because the pain pump had set me from from years of taking
opiates
and being in constant pain in my low back from a fall. Evidently my pump got infected and went into my spinal fluid. The drs said they had never seen such weird organisms before.

Opiates
I keep reading these horror stories about GP's being instructed to deny or decrease their use. We all know the dangers associated with their use, which has often been arrived at as the last resort. Telling someone that their last resort is being withdrawn, with no alternative to offer is truly despicable

What happens next
I've tried many many painkillers over the years, NSAIDS,
opiates
, pregabilin but not really any success, will immunosuppressants be the next step?

It seems most members report sharp pains and something they can cope with at home with
opiates
or with mental control. I also see a lot of coughing and burning sensations. The descriptions, locations and feelings seem so different from what we go through. 3.

Ivor Lewis Pain and Nausea Years after
The interesting part is that she was getting Radio Frequency Ablations (burns nerve endings) for three years and during that time she was completely off
opiates
, mostly pain free, was very active, ran half-marathons, and we thought things were turning around.
