Still wondering what to do ?
I have a genetic mutation which makes me process
opiates
very quickly. The good news is no dependence the bad news no pain control. Being allergic to naproxen also excludes NSAIDs and I cannot take Prednisone.

Paralympic Discrimination
On a more serious note we could easily be disqualified for "doping"as both our cylinders and concentrators would be difficult to conceal and they would probably find traces of Steroids and O2 and possibly
opiates
in our blood and urine tests. Think we might go for the Highland Games instead.

LDN
Hi all anyone heard of LDN or low dose Naltrexone? There seem to be good results for ms sufferers and other autoimmune disorders although there is no mention of PMR specifically. It is an opiate antagonistic was was originally put on the market to help addicts but there is growing interest in it to

The Stranger Returns with incredible news (something I never thought I could do.....A RACE!)
Plus the
opiates
were digging in to my system! Back in Bonnie, (after an uncomfortable train journey, feeling sick with the Naproxen) I made an appointment to see a private physio and for the last couple of months I have been doing back exercises and gradually the pins and needles subsided.

Dealing with anger re:aftermath
If I can ever get my hands on some CBD oil it would go a long way to managing my pain without ruining my bowels like the
opiates
do. I am on NHS waiting lists for gyne, as well as colonoscopy and endoscopy to see what's up with my bowels. I've been waiting for a year now.

Holiday from dopamine agonist
Tried all the
opiates
and could not take them. I'm now on Neupro patch 1mg and Gabapentin 300mg at bedtime. Also just started Klonopin o.5mg at night. I have read that some of you take a holiday from the dopamine agonist in order to prevent augmentation.

Iatrogenic traumatisation, #1
Iatrogenic, for those not quite in the way of showing off, is illness caused as a result of medical treatment. Which could be another name for most of the sites on HU, I suspect. There should be a formal name for an iatrogenic illness by proxy, since as a result of the experience of my husband's treatment

Post laproscopy advice
I was on morphine and fentanyl before the surgery and because of an allergic reaction I was taken off the morphine immediately and I have decided not to continue the fentynal and am going to pain manage using paracetamol only because I know the
opiates
can cause constipation.

Tramadol v Oxycontin v Other Opiates
I would really appreciate some feedback/advice. It is 6 weeks since I eliminated my last Oxycontin. I am still getting the occasional panic attack but I think I am mostly over the withdrawal period. The purpose of the elimination was to see if I could manage with just kratom for rls urge-to-move as my

Hello and thanks for the add. My back pain began in 1988 as a result far too many step aerobic classes and pushing patients here and there.
Therefore, due to DEA interventions into physicians practices to stop them for writing prescriptions for
opiates
, I was as many others thrown to the side without any help. U have read my short, very short story.

Perhaps I will suggest the
Opiates
and if the neurologist is as unhelpful as before I will seek a change then. It is not easy for me to travel further than I do now as it already takes an hour on a good day to get to the hospital.

Well my fellow Edsers, the Veteran administration is implementing a law that anyone who does not have cancer will mot be on
Opiates
. My GP told me either volunteer to come off or you will be made to do so and this law will soon be nationwide.

Help with advice about pain medication please
She said that these are the guidelines and they don't prescribe any kind of
opiates
anymore. I can't believe that this is the only help he is going to receive she also suggested he could try amitriptyline but he doesn't think these will work very well.

Hello.... waves from the sidelines ๐๐๐๐ I have missed you all so much.
I'm on daily paracetamol with occasionally a couple of ibuprofen, I was off
opiates
from 36 hours. I am so pleased that I worked on my core before my op as I am using the surrounding muscles to allow me to do a little more stuff. I can't lift more than 4kg and I am slow. Oh so very slow.

Heabie geabies
Hello everyone. I have an itchy sensation that runs up and down my spine, runs through my entire body and makes me curl into a fetal position, I would have to tense up my body for about 3 seconds to relieve (some what) of the creepy crawling sensation for about a min. The feeling feels like electricity
