Hello and thanks for the add. My back pain began in 1988 as a result far too many step aerobic classes and pushing patients here and there.

Most of the time my pain is controlled through Percocet 5mg every 4 hours and spinal injections at the sacral root every 3 months.

I went through months of pain and although the doctors knew me well through my position a RN, they were very hesitant to give me anything because now because of the "Opiate Police." Well, fortunately, a Nurse Practitioner ordered a CT scan of my rt hip. My Internist started me on OxyContin 30mg twice daily. Reason? I had been walking on a broken hip due to Avascular Necrosis for months. Avascular Necrosis is the dying of tissue due to no blood supply.

Therefore, due to DEA interventions into physicians practices to stop them for writing prescriptions for opiates, I was as many others thrown to the side without any help. U have read my short, very short story.

Are you discussing surgical options such as resurfacing (I know it can be more popular in the UK than US) or a replacement?
