Severe Upper Inner Thigh Pain
I got out of bed on Thursday morning and once I started walking, my left inner upper thigh - not quite in the groin - began to ache. It continued off and on (mildly) into the day and I hobbled around at work. The pain was fairly manageable at that point, and I was able to walk the dog. On Friday it

NEW TABLET CHEMYDUR 60XL
I have started to self medicate and been given new tablets the ones above and included on the packet Isosorbida-5-mononitrate. It seems an important addition as I have had around 4 medical people phone me and asking about them and if I have any side affects taking them, I am only having half a tablet

Private GP visit
I saw I private GP today as I felt with more time to go through my symptoms and tests I might get somewhere. But she is of the opinion that my B12, ferritin and folate levels were all fine and nothing to worry about. They are within range. I asked about my symptoms, but she didn’t feel they warranted

Do any medications help dial down the pain?
Do any medications help dial down the pain?? I've got fluoxetine, escitaloprm, propranolol, gabapentin and pregabalin, naproxen and another antidepressant in my kitchen drawer that were all prescribed to help fibromyalgia pain. I'm not taking any of them as I always get side effects that are not great

lansoprazole
Can lansoprazole make you feel sick? I am on day 3 after a switch from Omeprazole and I feel really sicky. Is this a side effect? Or my gastritis getting worse?

NK cells and pcos -steroids or hydroxychloroquine?
Hi all, I’m under Prof Shehata’s NHS clinic (recurrent miscarriage )and my results showed raised NK cells although activation markers were in range. Everything else pretty good too although AMH was very high which is not necessarily a good thing and suggests that my PCOS is back (was diagnosed approx

Leg Pain
Hi all. I have posted before, my right leg is causing terrible pain from my bottom down to my foot. I also have pins and needles when I stand or walk. As the pain goes down the side the doc said he doubts sciatica. At first the physio has said arthritis, as the exercises made the condition worse

Sorry another q. omeprazole and sulfasalazine
Hi all. Sorry for another question but the more I learn and am diagnosed with the more questions I have. I'm on omeprazole as well as many other meds. When I started sulfasalazine I asked a pharmacist what I could and could not take as the same time and one thing he said was omeprazole should be taken

Thyroid Functions
Hello,I have been investigating the above recently via this forum and elsewhere. It concerns me that I take two medications that have an effect on Levothyroxine. Omeprazole 20mg daily, taken before bed and Propranolol 30mg taken twice daily usually before breakfast and before bed. Levothyroxine, 200mcg

meloxicam?
Hello I’ve been prescribed meloxicam to help with pain in my feet and ankles which is rendering me virtually disabled - I am wondering if this drug is known to affect restless legs ( mine are still severe despite being on buprenorphine and pregabalin…) I have also been prescribed omeprazole to help

Levo Brands/NICE guidelines
TT two years’ ago from being hypER with goitre. Now on 125mgs Accord Levo. Various ‘symptoms’ but apart from weight gain my main concerns are breathlessness/balance issues/food sensitivities. An interesting consult with my gp this morning and I would like to see what comments the forum might

It’s called Mine Your Gut by Kate Scarlata and Dr Megan Riehl. I’ve started it and it’s brilliant! Defo worth a read…. Secondly, interestingly she was keen

Omeprazole and Vit B12
Just found out that is you are on Omeprazole you should also be considering taking a Vit B12 supplement. Article reads: all people taking omeprazole need to either supplement with vitamin B12 or have their vitamin B12 status checked on a yearly basis. Even relatively small amounts of vitamin B12
