Upper abdominal pain upon waking every single morning.
Hi, I’ve been trying to find answers for over 5 years. I get pretty bad upper abdominal pain upon waking every morning but after an hour or so propped up in bed it fades and I can get up. Alcohol makes it far worse and means I’ll wake up in the night feeling terrible with pain, sweating and nausea. Hence

Hello, I first posted a few years ago here about some random pain in my hands and I didn't know what it was. A lot has changed since then.... I currently take MTX, Hydroxychloroquine and Sulfasalazine. I've been on them for about 2 years now and broadly speaking my RA is under control, I feel stiff

Trying so hard to feel normal - overhauling the supplement plan
Hi 🙂, Just meanderings of a tired brain today. Hoping I'm not the only one on this wave-length. Some days with endo are really tough, and some are deceptively "easy" like today, where I end up asking myself why I "can't feel normal". Stage IV endo is where I'm at, waiting for Tuesday for the recommendation

Pain medication
I'm taking Duloxetine 120mg as struggling with depression. Was on Ibuprofen for pain but didn't think it worked until I started Naproxen. It's now like I may as well be taking nothing. The pain is worse, everywhere plus I am so exhausted I struggle to move. I eventually get out of bed when I need

Fed Up Of Being In Pain
Morning. I just need to offload here, sorry!! I have degeneration of lower discs in my back, and it causes pain, every single second of every single day, despite pain killers. I live with it, because I have to. But, I'm also waiting to have my gallbladder removed. Was hospitalised at September due to

Red dots on skin
Hello! In april last year I had a sudden dull pain in my middle joint of index finger, after giving it a massage for a few minutes I noticed it was swelling rapidly, the pain stopped the same night but in the morning I woke up with a swollen finger. My dr.thought it was some kind of an infection so she

ANA Positive 1:80 Nucleolar pattern 2013 and ongoing pain. The last 5 weeks I can barely walk.
I paid privately for another ANA test and awaiting the results which should be with me today. I have Hashimotos, B12 Deficiency with positive Gastric Parietal Cell Abs but no diagnosis of Pernicious Aneamia. For the past 8 years I’ve been back and forth to my GP with mainly pain in my lower joints,

Possible ulcerated oesophagus!
I've had back pain recently that doesn't feel like PMR and is accompanied by acid reflux. Went to see the doctor today and she feels it might be referred pain from an ulcerated oesophagus due to too long on Pred (2 and 1/2 years and now on 5mg.) Has anyone else experienced this? She has ordered more

How many MG starting Prednisone do you think I should have been started on?
Hello I'm 60 years old. My rheumatologist thought I had PMR four months ago and started me on15 mg , the pred reduced pain and stiffness about 50% and for some reason he started tapering down to zero and I was in excruciating pain for weeks while he did all these other diagnose, the DR was going

Hi everyone, new to the group
I have just joined this support group. I have stage 4 endometriosis which was diagnosed in 2010 through a laproscopy. Been trying to conceive for the past 13 years. Currently on naproxen to help manage my endo pains. I have read that endo pains worsen with age. Is that true? I was considering asking

Rituximab and statins - a good combo?
Morning Peeps 🙂 I am having my first Rituximab infusion 24th May. I have high cholesterol and have booked an appointment for a phone consultation with my GP today. I think it's about time I went on statins to reduce my high cholesterol. We have discussed it before, some time back, but she was reluctant

What is the best diagnosis and management?
Hi everyone, hope you are all well. How effective are the different diagnosis tools for endo? I currently have a 'potential' diagnosis of endo based on symptom pattern and a pelvic ultrasound whereby the transvaginal scan showed reduced movement of the ovary on one side compared to the other. I would
