Hi there what the cause of your pain

Hi,I suffer with chronic back pain, I have DDD, I also have damaged disks at L3/4 and L5/6/SI, I also have nerve compression and suffer with sciatica.

Are u in the UK, how on earth did you get all those painkillers prescribed, I’m taking opiates but fighting NHS in not being prescribed permanently. I take Baclofen and pregabalin When my oramorph was taken off me that’s when my problems started.

I’m at a loss in getting heard, getting the correct treatment, why do we have to deal with medical staff who seem to feel it’s acceptable to palm us off.

Your story wasn’t available to ready xx

Yeah I’m in the U.K., Bucks I’m prescribed all that from my pain consultant and they wanted to put me on more, I said no, my liver results have scared me for the last two years and when I read about livers mine wasn’t in a good place. That’s when I found medical cannabis, the issue I now have is affordability, it isn’t sustainable as a parent whom is disabled and as a consequence unemployed for the last five years due to pain. I can’t quite describe how bad it is and how bad it can be.

I hope you get sorted, if your not happy with your treatment ask your GP for a referral to a different pain consultant 😊

If you click on my story and then click it again it comes up in a new window, for some reason health unlocked double checks outside links (I’m guessing to keep us safe) 😊

I’m booking in at your surgery, I want my life back

I do hope you get the right treatment 🙏🏻 I’ve been very lucky so far, the biggest issue I now face is affordability. There is no chance in me having £300 for my next private script. Let’s hope "Fair Access For All" will actually work. It’s only going to work with as many people as we can get together all with the same issue. Have you joined my group on fb it’s called Medical Cannabis UK

Really friendly people with lots of experience and patients with different symptoms 😊

Wow. I wanted to write to the health minister and ask why I have been forced to reduce my medication. I have reduced from to a dose that I’m unable to function with.My state of mind awful. Since my taper I have attempted suicide 2 x. Resuscitated 5 times my last attempt, self harm and given up.

Im now treated differently to other patients

I have crohns

Ileostomy

Terminal ilium removed from small bowel

Psoriasis arthritis

2 laminectomies

2 disectomies

Mental health

Short bowel syndrome

Surely this goes to prove like you that I’ve a reason for wanting pain relief

How did ure story get heard. Well done for doing that.

Oh blimey I’m really sorry to hear you’ve had such struggles 😔

Need to try and stay positive (I know that’s not an easy thing to do)

Get in touch with joe@aspectpublishing.co.uk (he was my reporter) he will be more then happy to write yours if your happy to share of course.

The more that people do the more weight as patients we will have. It’s impossible to disprove the evidence.

It would be great to have you in the group if you’d be happy to join, we have a lot of the team (all patients) with lots of knowledge and more than willing to share and talk 😊💚

I’m always here for a chat if you ever feel like one too 😊
