Mixed Connective Tissue Disease?
Hello all, I saw my rheumatologist yesterday, he has said that my Lupus is mild and through experience, he thinks it should stay that way, he has prescribed me some Naproxen tablets and given me information on Hydroxychloroquine which I can have at my appointment with the nurses next month if I wish.

Maybe it’s not RA
Since my first post 4 days ago, the response on here has been very touching. Thank you for all your support and wise words. However, now I have read other people’s stories, I’m thinking it’s possible that I have something else. Admittedly my blood tests did indicate RA and my GP seems certain enough

Taking medication abroad
Has anyone seen the BBC news article about a British woman being arrested and now faces 25 years in prison or the death penalty for taking Naproxen and Tramadol tablets in her case to Egypt? The street value of £23. Reportedly for her husband who suffers from back pain. I have that medication with

Positive outcome at the hospital
Wishing everyone well. Had my second das score done today and I will be starting on the new JAK S inhibitors. It's been full of ups and downs these past few years. Hopefully now things will improve. Unfortunately pharmacy didn't have any of the drug in stock but hopefully in the next couple of days.

Day 5 - symptoms getting worse :(
The first two days of taking Naproxen I was feeling OK and actually felt an improvement. However, on Day 3 my fingers and wrist joints was aching quite badly to the point I couldn't move my arms. Over the last two days, the pain has slowly spread to my shoulders...making it difficult to move around.

Reflux
Not fibro related but pain related. Had yet another bout of horrid reflux this weekend, basically writing the whole weekend off. I woke with it early Saturday morning but was unable to vomit immediately. Instead I breathed it in and entered the world of fire. Is like being waterboarded with acid, trying

At a loss now
I have had a pain on my right side for just over a year. I have ultra sound scans, blood test etc to see if there is anything wrong with gallstone, kindeys, liver and everything always come back clear. My dad had a hernia operation 2 weeks ago and i was googling hernias and saw hiatus hernia symptoms

Day 2 - Continuing Naproxen
Today was my day off. I woke up a little late but was pleasantly surprised to find my knee ache levels were low, although my fingers were a little stiff. I could follow my morning routine without pain...gripping my toothbrush wasn't a problem, walking down the stairs wasn't a chore, sitting down for

Sciatica is killing me
It all started about 9 months ago when I first began to feel a slight pain radiating down my leg from my hip with every step I would take. The pain remained the same up until about a week ago where my leg was in excruciating pain I can no longer walk stand for more than a couple of mins and even then

Constant Migraine with Aura, what else can I try?
Hi, I started having migraines April 2016 and they became constant August 2016. For the first few months I was in agony and didn’t leave my pitch black room, I also have to move back in with my parents. I have come a long way since then(am now able to live on my own!) but I still struggle with noise/

Worse period pain after depo?
Hi. I know this is a UK board, but I have questions that you folks may can answer. In November of 2016, I started taking the depoprovera birth control shot that stops periods and ovulation. Previously suffering from depression, the depo magnified it ten fold and forced me onto Lexapro to treat it. In

Day 1 - Taking Naproxen for the first time
This morning I woke up with the usual joint pains in my fingers, knees and foot. I swallowed my Lanzoprosole pill (with water) then showered, dressed and headed into work...with great difficulty. Even buttoning up my shirt took forever. I expected this to be another rubbish day. 2pm is my usual work
