Naproxen

Hi all, does anyone know if I can take naproxen on the same day as mtx?

Rheumatology helpline only open certain hours and today it’s not until this afternoon. I’m in a lot of pain this Morning though

Hi. Sorry you're in pain. I'm not aware of any issues taking these two together and I've done so myself many times.

We shouldn't really answer direct medical/medication questions. I can say however that I've always taken my NSAID the same day as MTX without issues.

Yes you can ,you can't take folic with it though ok

I would say yes you can take them on the same day and at the same time as they are completely different medicines.

If ever I'm unsure about any of the medication I take I ring the pharmacy and ask to speak to the pharmacist as he is a wealth of knowledge and always helpful.

Well I take Naproxen 500mg bd on same day as MTX injectable. Ask your pharmacist.
