Have you told your GP your struggling to cope. There are many medications to manage pain and sometimes the ones we use mightn't work well for us. It could be that your meds need a review, or your GP may need to refer to pain management.

Hi I am so sorry that you are struggling so much at the moment. I was retired at 39 yrs old due to this horrible condition so I can relate to you a lot. Take heart, you are having a low period which we all have and Fibromyalgia does seem to fluctuate often hour by hour.

I really think you need to see your GP and make sure they are aware that you are not coping at the moment. is your GP supportive? With some medication 'tweaking' you should be able to get on more of an even keel again.

We are all here for you and please do not feel ashamed, this is not your fault.

Thank you for the support my doctor is hopeless I seem to have to suggest things that may help etc the last time I saw the rheumatologists He suggested getting more xrays on knees feet and also my hands as I have osteoarthritis throughout my back too and Hydrotherapy treatment but don’t see him again now till January and it seems like ages away!! He also told me to stay away from morphine based meds I do work at the minute only manage 2 days a week and I struggle so much but put a brave face on at times, the doctor gave me antidepressants and I hate taking them but there also for pain too he says Amitriptyline 10mg I try to stay as active as possible too thanks again x
