I'm new here, just diagnosed last month
I started having an accelerated heart beat on July 1st. It happened while watching TV about once a week. My normal resting heart rate is around 75 bpm. Mine would go from 100-150 bpm. I always new when it started and when it stopped. I wasn't in pain but I felt different. So I called a cardiologist

Morning ladies and gents You know, I thought I was done with all this. I thought after a few weeks of not being able to breathe properly thanks to the excessive heat and humidity, I was getting better. The temperatures the last few days of last week have been great. And then I went out yesterday. Had

One of the vexing problems faced by men intrigued by PCa-Polyphenol study results, is how to improve bioavailability. This is particularly true for curcumin & resveratrol. While micronized versions of these now exist, bioavailability issues remain for a dozen others. The primary reason for poor bioavailability

Msm
I just wondered if anyone has had any good results using MSM. I am hypothyroid and take Levothyroxine. I also have osteopenia along with feeling lethargic and hair that feels like straw. I've read quite a few good things abut this supplement.

Throat cancer
I have just been diagnosed with throat cancer and I am concerned that the radiotherapy treatment has side effects that can be so painful that a feeding tube will be necessary, so how am I going to manage the inhalers for my COPD. Also I use a CPAP machine at night, will this also be too painful to use

Understanding my pain
My community is pain, simply because I live in pain 24/7 and I try to understand it. I know, more or less, where my pain is coming from. It's coming from the many conditions that I have been blessed to experience. I consider each pain to be a blessing because it reminds me that I am alive and not buried

Zoloft(Sertraline) or T3(add toT4) or both? help please
Hi, I had a difficult period last weeks perhaps because I was overmedicated(I was on 135mcglevo +1/2gr.ndt). I felt great for a period of time but then symptoms of overdosing have appeared in short time, insomnia(many nights with no sleep at all) , anxiety, shivering, hot face, sweating palms, nervousness

Stronger than you know
I've been following #c25k posts for various challenges I've faced along the 8 week journey. I've just completed Week 7 Day 1 #W7D1. I've found every single day daunting since Week 5 Day 2. Until then every run had rests, from W7D1 there are NO rests. So I put it off for 5 days. Sometimes I need

Bradycardia and Sleep Apnea
This afternoon when I went to a short nap while feeling fatigued and my heart was very slow around 50 bpm, shortly the heart rate alarm woke me up as my heart rate drooped to 45 bpm within a few minutes after I drifted to sleep. This happens to me everyday since 4 years now. I tried CPAP but it didn't

I've been taking Klonopin with Lexapro for a little over a week now and about halfway through I decided to stoptaking the klonopin(.025 mg).I'm a CPAP patient-I've been waking up lately and then trying to go back to sleep, resulting in a panic-attack jolt that leaves me shaken and anxious all day.If I

Day 2 of Obin, Ibutinib, Venetoclax Clinical Trial
Hi everyone, I completed the second day of the trial, and I couldn’t be happier about my decision. Day 2 was “Groundhog Day,” i.e. a repeat of day 1 in all ways except we ramped up to 900 mg from 100 mg of obinutuzumab infusion. I had maybe 5 minutes of slight stomach and lower back pain, but that was

How to stop seeing my naturopath without being rude?
Hiya people, brief update: went to see a naturopath, she correctly diagnoeed me with adrenal fatigue and candida and gave me HCL, enzymes, probiotics and a food plan involving lots of protein (she thought lack of protein might be raising my cortisol). She also prescribed MSM. She doesn't think it is

Treatment disparities between heterosexual and gay and bisexual men diagnosed with prostate cancer.
The following is part of next week's American Society of Clinical Oncology Annual meeting and was published in the Journal of Clinical Oncology. Malecare found significant treatment utilization disparities between heterosexual and MsM. Most startling is that almost twice as many initially treated heterosexuals

Air hunger now a serious problem now on oxygen!!
For the past year I've been getting more and more breathless. I ended up in hospital with suspected heart failure, but the cardiologist said my heart wasn't too bad for my age of 74 years. Waiting for pulmonary tests and to see a neurologist. I am on 20mcu T3 and 125mcu T4 . Same dose for over 10
