I have just been diagnosed with throat cancer and I am concerned that the radiotherapy treatment has side effects that can be so painful that a feeding tube will be necessary, so how am I going to manage the inhalers for my COPD. Also I use a CPAP machine at night, will this also be too painful to use?
Has anyone any experience of this.
Many thanks

Hello Eve, I'm sorry as well. You've got a lot to face and I'm afraid I can't help you with the particular things that are worrying you. Try to get some information - from BLF and/or your hospital. And please let us know how you are. Take care, Sue xxx
Hi Eve, sorry to hear about your diagnosis. I can't help with the questions and echo others advice to speak to BLF helpline or the hospital. Do you have a specialist nurse you can ask? Let us know how you get on. I wish you the best for the treatment and for the best possible outcomes x

Hello Eve, I am so sorry about your diagnosis. I don't have any experience with this other than my grandfather had it when I was a child. He lived for almost two decades post diagnosis. I am sure someone with knowledge will help you put with your questions shortly. Sending you light and love.
Yes Eve wishing you grace and love. They should help you with this when you go for your treatment and, as much as it helps, please keep in touch. Xpiggix
