Foods/Supplements-Vitamins: Medicinal Fungi - Button mushroom - Agaricus bisporus
Surely I jest? The lowly white button mushroom [WBM] contains an aromatase inhibitor. As such, it may inhibit the conversion of testosterone to estradiol. WBMs are also a source of conjugated linoleic acid [CLA]. Surely, not a whole lot - but [1c] describes it as "an important component". & "WBM was

leukotriene agonists and 5-lipoxygenase inhibitors
Hi Folks Need to tap into your direct experience of leukotriene agonists and / or 5-lipoxygenase inhibitors. Currently pattern is a need for 5 / 10 Day Oral Steroid Burst about every 4 to 5 Weeks. Thinking about asking my Consultant to give me one of the above if I need to have another Steroid Burst

Hi:. I'm new to this site. My husband suffers terribly with Rls. It's not fun for the partner either. He's been on all the meds mentioned in every post but is not on any pain medication now. He sleeps fitful and manages only three or four hours of sleep per night. This worsens his quality of life

DRIVEN BONKERS about time we had 100% answers researchers!
We are all in this, trying to find what to take, what not to consume, wanting a cure, told there isn't one or read it may be possible to get some kind of remission. You recall I, as some, can't take the meds, severe side effects. I also had several useless doctors so learned a lot from this site and

However two weeks ago my latest scan showed several endometrioma which have grown rapidly and my mood....like my bladder control is deteriorating rapidly! Never thought I'd be in Tena

I'm new here, just diagnosed last month
I started having an accelerated heart beat on July 1st. It happened while watching TV about once a week. My normal resting heart rate is around 75 bpm. Mine would go from 100-150 bpm. I always new when it started and when it stopped. I wasn't in pain but I felt different. So I called a cardiologist

One of the vexing problems faced by men intrigued by PCa-Polyphenol study results, is how to improve bioavailability. This is particularly true for curcumin & resveratrol. While micronized versions of these now exist, bioavailability issues remain for a dozen others. The primary reason for poor bioavailability

I just wondered if anyone has had any good results using MSM. I am hypothyroid and take Levothyroxine. I also have osteopenia along with feeling lethargic and hair that feels like straw. I've read quite a few good things abut this supplement.
