Double dose POP

Hoping someone can help?

I’ve been taking Qlaira for 18 months but the last 6 months I’ve had increased bleeding for 10-12 days, nausea for 3-4 days so all in all not great.

Through the GP, gynae recommended either

1. Double dose Progesterone only pill

2. Mirena coil plus progesterone pill

3. Mirena

Due to previous cyst removal surgeries my ovary is attached to my abdominal wall so whatever they give me needs to stop ovulation.

GP said she’s never heard of double dose progesterone abd I got the impression she wasn’t over keen on me taking it. Mirena would be my absolute last resort.

Any advice or experience anyone can give?
