Anyone experience clotting with mirena?

I had the Mirena fitted in Jan whilst on prostap. My last 3 month Prostap injection was in March. Around mid-October I started with lower back pain and spotting which I guess was the mirena working /Prostap wearing off. I’ve now been bleeding for 11 days and have started clotting which I did regularly prior to taking Prostap. Is this common? Has anyone else experienced this? Thanks!

Hi, I had the mirena in last year and it caused me to have 7 weeks of heavy clott filled bleeding and it took get the coil out and taking norethisterone to stop the bleeding. It also left me needing an iron infusion. So just keep an eye on things and don’t wait as long as I did to get medical help.
