Hi

I’m sorry your having so much pain and bleeding! It’s awful.

I had the copper coil fitted the 1st of September and I constantly bled heavy and was in agony. They even did an ultrasound to check it hadn’t perforated I kept getting told all coils take 3-6 months to settle. I had my coil changed to the kyleena hormonal coil on the 11-11-2020 and I have had no change but I guess I just have to keep waiting for it to settle. That’s what all health care professionals have told me. It sucks! Hopefully the bleeding will settle over the next few months. But if it’s a concern phone your gp. I was told if my bleeding didn’t settle over the next few weeks to phone them. But I think I’ll be told to wait longer. Annoying. This is what’s holding me back from having a lap.

I hope that helps.

Annie 😊

Thanks I will wait for a few weeks and then go back to the gynaecologist. Thanks for taking the time to reply. Hope you get sorted.
