Pain remedy pack - does yours look like this?
Background: I have endo stage IV, 5 weeks after laparoscopy, awaiting MRI scan -
Mirena
& cerazette. I've had these 1 month, and have light spotting all month with light period cramps.

PMDD, Endo and the Marina Coil
Hi Everyone, This is my first time posting in this group. I was officially diagnosed with Recto Vaginal Endo at the end of last year after 15 years. I've since had it removed and been put on the Marina Coil. Physically I'm so much better than I was but I started getting really depressive episodes

Anyone trying Mirena (levonorgestrel) & Cerazette (desogestrel) together?
I've had the
Mirena
put in by a gynaecologist, so maybe that will do the trick. However, I've read some women bleed with their periods while they have the
Mirena
, particularly in the first 12 weeks.

Endo fatigue - how to perk up?
I have a "remedy pack" with
Mirena
& cerazette to slow the endo, amitryptaline & ibuprofen & paracetamol for pain relief, and vitamins & supplements for overall wellness (peppermint, probiotics, ginger, turmeric & black pepper, vitamin with omegas & vitamin D and calcium). This approach is helping.

Endometriosis and getting pregnant
Hi there, I was diagnosed with endometriosis in 2019 where I had surgery and got the
mirena
IUD fitted. I am now thinking about trying to get pregnant and wondered if anyone has been in this situation? Any recomendations? Thanks

Hormone treatment
I've been told that they wanna switch me from the pill to the
mirena
coil as this will help symptoms, they don't want to do surgery as I don't have children yet and want to in the next couple of years, and they are worried if they do the surgery they may find more and may have to give me a hysterectomy

TSH rising despite being on 150mcg of thyroxine?
Any ideas I have gained 10kg from December till now and am on a huge cocktail of gynae related hormones due to Covid to avoid surgery (Zoladex, Tibolone and a
Mirena
coil) it's exhausting. Also on ferrous fumerate 210mg twice daily for the anaemia.

Cyclical dips
I’m aware of options like the
mirena
coil but I can’t say I’m convinced that it wasn’t involved in my becoming ill in the first place, so I’m not keen. Plus, it’s synthetic hormone and I’m not keen on that. Any ideas?

Bulky uterus - Adenomyosis?
I'm keen to keep my uterus, and I've had a
Mirena
coil put in - and then read after the fact that the
Mirena
is often recommended for women with adenomyosis. So, the first part of my question is this: does bulky uterus normally mean likely adenomyosis?

Bleeding after mirena removal
* I had my
mirena
removed on Friday after having it for 14 months. I have been passing blood clots approx every 30 mins since. Has anyone else experienced this? The nurse said to get in touch if I was bleeding heavily after the removal.

Mirena IUD
Interested to know if a
Mirena
IUD is safe to have if you have Nash. I have read conflicting reports. I have only just had it inserted but apparently the hormones can have an affect on the liver??

RLS flare from IUD?
I’m wondering if it is related to the removal of my IUD (
Mirena
)? I had to get it removed because it caused unending pain for five months. But now that it’s gone, I’m having this intense flare up and I don’t know what to do. Help

Does anyone have experience of the Mirena reducing back pain?
Does anyone have any experience of the
Mirena
coil improving constant pain rather than just cyclical pain? I had an internal ultrasound yesterday and the doctor said she didn’t see any obvious signs of disease and gave me no other advice other than just to try the
mirena
.

Next step?
I was initially on cerazette (this stopped my bleeds) but had to stop it in late 2017 as they believed it could be aggravating another condition and causing rapid weight gain so I had a
mirena
inserted. I had no problems with my initial
mirena
and it also stopped my bleeds.

A comfy dress is heavenly after laparoscopy!
. ;) I was idly wondering before if I was becoming depressed from the
Mirena
& mini pill. Nope. Clearly, if I'm so enthused about a dress, I'm not depressed. I was just sore, trying to rest to heal, and oblivious to how much a waist band was hurting.

AMH Tests
I then had the
Mirena
coil fitted after surgery, still in a lot of pain most days and my hormones are allover the place. My partner and I are wanting to start trying to get pregnant at the end of this year so just wondering overall if this AMH test is worth doing.... Thanks everyone :)

This is my first time posting on anything like this!
I have recently had a child 15months ago, 2 months later i had the
mirena
placed to help with endo and contraceptive. I started bleeding very heavily for 4 months very regularly, having breaks for 3-4 days then bleeding.
