Gynae refusing to see me
Hi all, I hope you don’t mind but I really needed a place to have a bit of a rant and thought here might be a good option. Briefly, I’ve had all the symptoms of endo since I was 15. After years of Doctors and hospital visits they eventually said they were convinced I had endometriosis but didn’t want

Wondering if anyone has any advice :/ I had a lap in May last year to remove endo in my pelvis. My consultant prescribed taking the pill back to back to keep symptoms at bay, but after a few months of taking it I had so many issues (my migraines became horrendous, and it turns out I had post-op 'free

7 months post op - HRT
Hi everyone. I had a TLH +BSO back in march for endometriosis, and also had excision from my bowel/bladder/ureter at the same time. I had 9 weeks on prostap without HRT prior to the surgery, then 13 weeks post op with no HRT before being started on tibolone which I have now been taking for just over

Mirena coil issues! Please help!
Hi, I have had the mirena coil for almost 3 years, since insertion I have 2 week long HEAVY periods a month (2 weeks on 2 weeks off) and over the last 8 months the 2 weeks that I’m not bleeding I suffer from recurring thrush. Has any one experienced this? I want to remove it but I’m cautious as Doctors

Mirena Coil and Endometriosis
I’ve been seeing a specialist for symptoms that could be endometriosis. But they’ve been reluctant to give me a laparoscopy and want to try everything before I have one. I initially was told to try a low fodmap diet incase it was ibs and now that didn’t work they said they’ll only give me a laparoscopy

T3 after thyroid cancer
Hi everyone, I haoa question is it safe to take t3 or ndt if I had low grade thyroid cancer? New endo says not safe, she is currently doing thyroglobin bloods which I assume are cancer markers and said she will speak to me then. She thinks I should consider hrt and marina coil because she feels menopause

Flexi Sigmoidoscopy
Had this procedure this morning and wanted to report that it was absolutely fine! I’d read a lot of negative stories online but I shouldn’t have worried. It was far easier than trying to have my Mirena removed! I didn’t have sedation, just a little gas and air and it wasn’t bad at all. So if you need

Discharged after Lap, but the pain is back! Help!
Hi all I had my first lap around 2 years ago, endo found on bowle but not removed. They gave me the mirena coil which stopped my periods and helped to resolve the pain. As time has gone on the symptoms of endo have gotten worse. Fatigue, picking up illnesses more quickly than usual, sickness, constipation

I'm a newbie here
Hi everyone, I'm new here. I found this forum whilst frantically searching for someone to talk to, someone who will listen instead of shutting off whenever I talk about my diagnosis. I'm 17 and got diagnosed with endometriosis in April of this year. I won't lie, it's been tough, as I'm sure everybody

Endometriosis Sex Pain - Doubts
Here little of my story: I have been diagnosed with endometriosis by ultrasound. I have an endometriosis cyst in my left ovary and a small endometriosis nodule in one of the utero-sacral ligaments. I was put on the Mirena since December-2016 and my endometriosis cyst reduced up to a point that it seems

Mirena after depression with the mini pill?
Hello ladies, I hope you’re having a ‘good’ endo day! Just after abit of advice/experience. I’ve had suspected endo but no lap/official diagnosis. Pretty bad symptoms. Was put on mini pill, which elliviated them somewhat but nowhere near enough, and I stopped taking the mini pill a week ago when I realised

Mirena coil
I have recently had the implant taken out as I was experiencing pretty much every side effect from it. My GP recommended getting the Mirena coil put in as I don’t want children just yet. I had the Mirena coil in for about a year in 2015. I had to have it taken out because it was sitting too low and
