What I’m dealing with
Hi everyone need to know if anyone has experienced these symptoms before? Settle in for a lot of information lol. So I’ve been having pelvic pain for 7 years. Mostly on the right side but some times it likes to travel. Usually I don’t have to do anything to cause the pain it just shows up and knocks

GP refused to remove Mirena
I have had my Mirena since January 2016 and I now want it removed. I thought it would be simple, thought I would go along to my GP and she would whip it out. But she said no and said "try it for a few more months" I'm at my wits end and don't know what can be done about this :( Can anyone offer

Endo on bowel, stage unknown. Pain is back!
Hi all I am currently back at my docs after some truly horrid months with this disease. I was diagnosed with endo 2 years ago, it was on my bowel and pouch of Douglas but they couldn’t remove it due to its location. I was put on the mirena coil which has helped as I don’t have periods but I still have

Bleeding every 10 days on cerelle
Hi I had my 2nd lap 18 months ago, to remove adhesions. The consultant wanted me to then have the mirena coil fitted, but I was not keen, so instead she said I should take a deoestrogel (sp?) Mini pill. Again I was reluctant but my gp suggested I try it and see how I felt. To cut a long story short,

Mirena coil and ra
Hi there Wondering if anyone has any thoughts on this? I am nearly 47 and booked to have a mirena put in next week as everyone I know really recommends it. It just occurred though that maybe with ra there is a reason not to. There seems to be some evidence -not sure if true or not-of it bringing it

Laparoscopy and adenomyosis
Hi I’m due to have my operation on the 6th nov and my gynaecologist was reluctant to do it as she seems to think it’s just bowl related, when I know I do not have problems with my bowl. All my tests and scans show otherwise that I have cysts and adenomyosis. She said if it shows nothing then I have to

Mirena coil
In a month or so hopefully I should be going for a laparoscopy and the doctor suggested I get the mirena coil fitted while I'm under so I was hoping anyone could share their experience with it? Does it help the endo symptoms? Does it cause lot after like labour pains?

Prostap injection
Hi ladies I’m coming to the end of my prostap injections. Symptoms have eased with it. Just wanted to know how people felt after it, did symptoms come back? What pill you used after to stop periods? I have had 2 operations for endo and have tried the mirena coil but that failed. Just dreading the pain

Mirena IUD and Acne
Hi Guys! I'm 22 and had the coil fitted about 5 months ago due to having Endo. I was on the pill before. I'm now getting horrifically bad acne which is just absolutely knocking my confidence. When I was on the pill i was completely fine with my skin, so from going from that to acne has been horrific.
