I haoa question is it safe to take t3 or ndt if I had low grade thyroid cancer? New endo says not safe, she is currently doing thyroglobin bloods which I assume are cancer markers and said she will speak to me then.
She thinks I should consider hrt and marina coil because she feels menopause is making me feel worse since thyroidectomy?
Opinions appreciated thanks

Did she say why she doesn't think it's safe for you? I don't know of any reason why it wouldn't be, but some doctors/endos just don't like T3, and say all sorts of things to put their patients off taking it.
Yes, she is testing for caner markers but doing thyroglobulin tests.
She said t3 can cause anxiety which I already have since surgery. And she wants to keep my tsh surpressed, she said I will always feel hyper and to consider beta blockers??
Surely if I am on proper thyroid all this anxiety, dizziness would get sorted!!!
I'm sure it would. And, hasn't she considered the fact that anxiety is also caused by under-medication. If you are not converting correctly, then you are, in a sense, under-medicated.
As for keeping your TSH suppressed, there's no problem with that when taking T3! I don't really think she knows what she's talking about.
Will wait for bloods and make decision then about what to do, so lightheaded, and no ability to exercise. Sick of this dance paying big money and getting nowhere!!
Many ThyCa patients are given t3 after the TT, so I can't see why it would be unsafe. You need to keep a suppressed TSH and that's much easier on t3 or NDT than levo.
It is safe for thyCa patients to take T3 and many thyroidectomised patients will do better on combination Levothyroxine + T3 rather than Levothyroxine only.
After thyroidectomy for thyCa I was prescribed 3 x 20mcg T3 for 3 months while I waited for RAI. I didn't do well on Levothyroxine monotherapy and have been taking Levothyroxine + T3 since 2014.
Write a post asking members to recommend sources. Include your recent TSH, FT4 and FT3 results and ranges and say how much Levothyroxine you are taking so members can guide you re dosing.
