Bad Cramps
Hi, I'm on Norethisterone while waiting for a date for my mirena coil to be re fitted. I'm experiencing bad cramps around the time my period would be due, has anyone else experienced this?

Pain!!!
I have a laparoscopy, everything went well, which I’m happy about, couldn’t find anything... I’m just in so much pain, I had Mirena fitted - which seems to feel fine, little bit of spotting, I just can’t get over the pain in my abdomen and I’m pretty good with pain normally. Any advice would be grateful

Mirena coil for endometriosis
Hello! I had a laparoscopy on the 12th Jan and had the mirena coil fitted at the same time. Unfortunately my endometriosis symptoms have only gotten worse since (possibly because my surgeon couldn’t remove all endometriosis due to its placement), I was wondering if anyone else had experienced this. I

Feel like I'm going mad!
Hello, In the last 2 years I've had 2 surgeries, 1 to remove a large cyst and the other was to remove another cyst and my left ovary. Dr inserted Mirena coil, but I'm still suffering with Pelvic pain, and cramping after intercourse aswell as vaginal bleeding on any kind of physical activity. My consultant

Gluten free??
Hey folks, I had a laparoscopy in November to remove stage 3-4 endometriosis, ovarian cysts and fluid on my cervix. I also had a new mirena coil fitted. I was hopeful that this would be the end to the daily dull pains. Unfortunately this has not been the case. I have been reading online for other remedies

Confused after laparoscopy
Hi, this is my first post. I've had a stabbing pain in my sides since my teens, but it got really severe around 5 years ago, and I had a week of extreme pain in the middle of my cycle, and then another 5 days before my period. My cycle was only 3 weeks, so this had a massive impact on my life. My

Laparoscopy update
Hi lovelies, I have had my procedure and I am in a lot of discomfort and fragile but okay, and most importantly am still seizure free! I went into theatre at about 2:45pm and came out at 4:30pm. They found endometriosis on my left side which is where I would get the stabbing and aching symptom, he successfully

Suspected Endo
Hello, haven’t posted on here before but been reading through a lot of posts this past couple of weeks. After years of suspecting I could have Endo I went to the drs a few weeks ago, who referred me to a gynaecologist. I had my appointment this weekend and had a transvaginal ultrasound, which didn’t

Mirena coil
I had the coil fitted around 6 weeks ago and I’m due my check up. I bled a lot for around the first 4 weeks and then it started to lighten up, I’m currently still bleeding but it’s more of the browny colour one is this a sign that I’m stopping or does this mean something else??

Just had my second laparoscopy with not such good results...
Hello, I've only posted once before but I feel the need to and I know that at least I'm certainly not alone in all this. So, I'm only on my 1st day of recovery from my second laparoscopy but I'm feeling really rather down, groggy from anesthetic and need to air my blues. After over 10 years of suffering

Advice on radical hysterectomy
Hey, So after major op 18 months ago I’m still suffering. I currently have the Mirena but that’s not making a blind bit of difference. I’m 33 and have 3 children. My questions are about the surgical menopause that comes afterwards. What will happen to Sex? It’s painful enough as it is but will I lose

what options are there for my daughter?
Hi, my daughter had had increasingly painful periods to the point of passing out with the pain. To put this into perspective, she has a lifelong chronic pain condition and regularly dislocates joints so you know, if she says if hurts, it really does hurt. She was put on Loestrin just over a year ago
