Pain!!!

I have a laparoscopy, everything went well, which I’m happy about, couldn’t find anything... I’m just in so much pain, I had Mirena fitted - which seems to feel fine, little bit of spotting, I just can’t get over the pain in my abdomen and I’m pretty good with pain normally. Any advice would be grateful 💕

Hi! I’m glad to hear everything went well. I had my lap 6 days ago and I never really had pain in my abdomen. Only in my shoulders and a little under my ribs (due to the CO2 the use to blow you up). The pain might be from the Mirena. I had the Mirena about a year and a half ago and it left me in agony every single day. Stomach, pelvic and vaginal cramps/pain. I also bled for a month until I decided to have it removed.

If it doesn’t ease up a week after your procedure, it’s most likely the IUD. I’d talk to your doctor then. Sending good vibes for quick healing!!
