Hi everyone this is my first post, Today makes 1 week since my decapeptyl injection for 3 months. I know it takes time to start to do any effect. Is it possible for the hormone injection not to work? My specialist said if i continue in pain its nothing to do with the gynochologist side and it is something

Hey all, I had my laparoscopy on Friday and was diagnosed with having Endometriosis, this wasn't staged but I'm hopeful that it was mild. They removed spots from left and right pelvic side walls as well as over uterosacral ligament - would love to hear from you if you had a similar area removed and swap

Mirena Coil
I don’t know if this is Endometriosis related but I had my mirena coil replaced on 4/2/2019 and since then I’ve had on and off UTIs and Kidney infections. I’ve had a bladder and kidney scan which has come back normal, along with seeing my coil is correctly placed. The Doctor thinks because I’ve been

mirena and anxiety
Has anyone heard of the IUD mirena causing increased anxiety and depression? I had one put in in october and my anxiety skyrocketed in November. I've never had anything like this happen to me before. I can't even take a shower without feeling anxious. I think I'm going to have it taken out just to see

Birth control for endometriosis making me depressed
Hello thank you for reading! I'm new to this forum but reading the experiences of other people in the group have made me feel much less lonely in my diagnosis. I was diagnosed with stage 3 endometriosis April 2018 and the only offered treatment plans were to either have the Mirena coil inserted or to

Laparoscopy on 11th March
Hi all! I had my diganostic laparoscopy on Monday which confirmed that I do have endometriosis. I had the tissue burnt/cut away and a new marina coil fitted as mine dislodged during surgery. I had four incisions made one of which is now infected (My navel). I've had terrible pain from the procedure

Possible PCOS
Hi, so I had a scan the other week in which the nurse giving me the scan told me that my right ovary looked polycystic and I had 2 cysts on my left ovary. I went back to my GP yesterday for her to tell me that she’s not 100% sure that I do have PCOS but evidence points that way. I’m now going back for

Too much Progesterone
Hi, I am very anxious and worried: Five years ago I had the Mirena coil fitted. (I am due to have this removed on Thursday - the reason I am 59 years old plus, apparently the coil as stopped producing Progesterone?). The problem is that over these 5 years I have been prescribed HRT... Combi (which

Need advice, sorry for the long post!
Hello, first time posting, been holding off a while as there's a lot to tell. But really do need some advice as I feel so lost and confused about what to do. In 2014 I suffered a miscarriage at about 8 weeks, this is the first time I had the pains I am about to describe. I have always been able to tell

Coil advice
Hello guys, I’m very recently been diagnosed with endometriosis after 7 years of struggling in pain with my abdomen and pelvic area. Hormone treatment vs Mirena
Hey I wanted to ask about how your hormone treatment has been going. What kind of medication are you on and how is it working for you? Is there still pain? Are you still bleeding? Also have you got or had a mirena in and how has your experience been with that? I’m not sure what I should be doing.
