Mirena coil and morning sickness feeling

Hi all

After some advice please!

I know there are mixed reactions to everything as we are all different but hoping for some feedback from other ladies on the Mirena coil.

I have endometriosis and adenomyosis - had surgery last year where I had it excised. I still had some symptoms and during a follow up scan the doctor also diagnosed adenomyosis, hence some of the symptoms.

I had five months on prostap and I honestly felt amazing - but at 27 don’t want the night sweats and aware it’s not a longterm solution. I was recommended the Mirena coil which I had six weeks ago.

I know they say it needs three months to settle but I just feel awful. I feel so sick in the morning that I am struggling to brush my teeth and heaved whilst taking a shower. Is this normal on the Mirena and has anyone else had this and it then settle? I have never been pregnant but I suppose this is what morning sickness must feel like?

I am really struggling but also realise I am running out of treatment options! I have no other symptoms other than a bit of discomfort in my lower stomach and back but nothing major. Just wish the sickness would go away!

Any help / advice / experience would be much appreciated!
