Sorry I’m back and I haven’t been for some time but I’m at my wits end I don’t think I’m ever going to get better.
Last June I had my 3rd mirena fitted under general everything has been absolutely perfect, I had a month check up in the Oct and they said I could see them in 6 months or be discharged well i decided to be discharged as I was doing so we’ll.
That was however until Sat when all my pain started again - exactly how it is was before, Monday was my first day bank after 3 weeks - yesterday I was really sick with pelvic pain - feeling different temps and sick at work got home went straight to bed and waiting for Dr to ring me.
Any ideas what to do next - went to A&E Sunday saw Gyne and ultrasound was clear as always but suspect Endo even though not officially diagnosed.
Worried about work

Hi, so sorry to hear you're not well. If the scan came back clear then it's possible it might just be a flare up. Try to relax (I know I sound like a broken record!) and take painkillers (Coldrex & Nurofen, alternating them, works best for me)
& a hot water bottle.
You are still ovulating while on Mirena so try to calculate your "cycle " days and see if it coincides.
I'm always in pain during my ovulating days but now less and less.
I had my Mirena fitted in last July during my endo surgery and even though I couldn't tolerate it in the past, this time I decided to hold on to it despite the pain. Now I'm actually fine!! It took 6 months of excruciating , stabbing pain but now I'm fine. There were days when the pain would appear suddenly while I was walking to the tube or when I was just talking to someone or before a concert (I'm a concert pianist) and I just couldn't breath...
But it was all worth it as now I'm fine.
Light exercising (I started with long walks, now I do cardio!) is crucial for dealing with the pain in the long run, plus wheat/sugar free diet (I'm a carbs addict so that's hard).
