So I’ve been getting periods and I’ve also been getting sharp pains in my lower abdomen (some can have be bend over in pain) I went to the doctors and they referred me to a gynaecologist where I got checked out and bloods taken however everything seemed

Operation planned
I don’t comment a lot but I read many of your messages and questions and feel for you all. It’s a horrible journey to be on and I’ve previously been told I had IBS, low pain threshold (definitely not) and imaginary pain. It actually took a nurse to say to me when I came back for another suspected urine

Haemorrhaging cysts/adenomyosis
Hi ladies, Have any of you experienced haemorrhaging cysts, particularly recurrent ones? I’ve got my second confirmed one, first was 3cm on the left and now 4cm on the right. Just very confused as the left hurt significantly more - and because I have a Mirena which is supposedly meant to prevent them

Chronic Pelvic Pain - Experiences and Advice
Hi everyone! First time poster here. I was hoping some of you may be open to sharing your experiences, and any advice you have on the next step. My story: I'm 21, have been a registered nurse for 3 years, and I'm currently doing a graduate certificate that includes women's health. The reason for this

Mirena coil hatred
Hi, I had a mirena coil in for 8 months since my c section....and it came out on sat. I was so happy because I hate it. I just rang the hospital department to ask about a different contraceptive and they said I have no choice but another coil. I cried on the phone to her. Is this definitely the only

Conceiving after Mirena removal
Hello, has anyone has difficulty getting pregnant after having a Mirena coil removed? I’ve never had a baby and would like to conceive and have been trying for 6 months with nothing. My period is so much lighter than before I had the Mirena (although day 1 is medium flow). Would anyone recommend taking

Laparoscopy recovery advice
Hey, I’m 5 days post op after having my first diagnostic laparoscopy and a Mirena coil and I am still feeling awful! Really bad pain, nausea and vomiting and just generally tired and worn out. (I did also develop a bad throat infection after the op). I’m just wondering what anybody else’s recovery period

I wanted to ask though:- 1. I have constant inflammation pain/sensitivity on my lower right side, and some mild pain

Hello I spoke to my GP and he’s now trying me on the combined pill along side the mirena coil. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Endometriosis and Pregnenolone
Hello ladies. I was wondering if anyone has experience taking Pregnenolone with endometriosis? I had a laporascopy 2 months back to remove my endo and a cyst. I feel worse now then I did pre-op; energy is super low, I have problems sleeping, extreme bloating, pelvic pain (daily) and a foggy brain

Laporoscopy or not
Hi everyone, just new to this platform. I felt i should ask for your opinion here. I am a 36 year old lady with three previous ceasarian sections. A year ago, noticed a dull ache when I passed urine that got me worried and i visited the GP who referred me to ED and a couple of blood test was done

Update: Morbid obesity, PCOS, weight regain and more… 🥴
Hi. I used to post quite regularly on here a couple of years ago. I'm sure some of the OG members recognise my username. I'm 22 years. I'm ashamed to admit, I'm back over 300lbs. I'm not disclosing how much by, haha. 😔 For reference, in 2017, I got down to 250lbs. I'll let you do the maths. I have

Coil and Endo
Hi everyone! I have been on the Mini Pill (progesterone only pill) for years. Roughly 4 years. I have also tried up to 11 pills, an implant and the Depo shots! I have been diagnosed with Endo for almost 8 years. Recently, the pill hasn’t been doing me any favours with constant pain and constant bleeding

Endo and the Mirena coil
Has anyone been diagnosed with endometriosis whilst having the mirena coil I have had my coil in for almost three years now and am now waiting for a diagnostic laparoscopy. Isn’t the coil supposed to help endometriosis?
