Just turned 50, have suffered from arthritis for 18 years, but since having marina coil removed and stopping meds have not had any flare ups in my knees so I am going to get strong and fit!!

Thanks, I'm amazed that I did! Actually I have built up to it a bit by riding my bike but it uses different parts of the muscles..or just in a different harder way!

Hi! πŸ˜€ Well done on getting out for your first run - for many (in some ways), it is one of the hardest. Take it easy in the heat if it's hot where you are - early runs are best to avoid the heat of the day.β˜€οΈ

Gorgeous dog 🐢- I'm assuming that is Mishka from your username?

Good luck with W1R2!πŸ‘

Yes, she is! It is too hot even now to think about running. I also ache a bit in my thighs. I am so please I did it although I'm feeling a bit worried about the second one now!

Love her eyes!😍 Have a look at the link IannodaTruffe posted above - I think it will offer some reassurance (and lots of advice!) Just remember to take it slow as you like at this stage - good luck!πŸ‘πŸ™‚
