Marina coil

I’m back again with concerns about my marina coil. So I’ve been getting periods and I’ve also been getting sharp pains in my lower abdomen (some can have be bend over in pain) I went to the doctors and they referred me to a gynaecologist where I got checked out and bloods taken however everything seemed to be fine and coil still in place but I’m still getting these pains, does anyone else suffer or have suffered with this with the coil? I’m really debating whether to get it taken out and see if that’s the problem or it’s something more

Well I was kept in for 6 hours and didn’t get my results back til nearly 1 in the morning, I wasn’t seen by the doctor but a nurse came to me and told me everything was fine (I had internal check and blood tests) and she just said if they get worse to come back in but they have a 3 month waiting list now

so this was an urgent care appointment . I think if you have ongoing abdominal discomfort you should have a discussion with your Gp about it
