I have been in group therapy, individual therapy, had biofeedback, tried

and taken ever med under the sun. In spite of it all, I succeeded in a stressful career and retired early. Of all the things in my life I am proud of - standing up to this affliction is at the top.

I heard about Transcendental
Meditation
(TM). Did anyone tried and what experiance did you have. You need to pay to be trained and take lessons and it is not cheap. Any comments before i sign up for this TM?

I'm thinking that there may be something up with my Thyroid, would welcome opinions and advice
I get low mood when I'm fatigued but I do yoga and
meditation
to combat this. Also, I am a very positive person and have made a choice to just have faith in the universe that things will be OK and this really helps me (I guess you could call it a pig headed optimism).

Since my depression and anxiety have been super overwhelming I finally decided to see a psychiatrist and he recommended

Severe anxiety for last 2.5 months straight. I'm new here.
I've tried exercise, talking with a friend and
meditation
. Next step is to go to an MD Psychiatrist and get drugs I guess. I don't sleep well either, even if I take (OTC) sleeping pills. The anxiety is more powerful than the sleeping pills.

Anorexia as a Coping mechanism for Relationship Anxiety
I like the idea of

, but haven't made a practice of it. Anyway, I'm not seeing a Therapist or any Eating Disorder support right now. I feel I need to be accountable to someone, but can't seem to move forward with that. I'd like to be able to handle this on my own.

I’m struggling with anxiety and feel like I need weekly visits and would like to focus on CBT, mindfulness,
