Anxiety Strategies
Motor stuff not giving me too many headaches (thankfully) right now - exercise, nutrition,
meditation
regime seem to be helping. Particularly interesting that Levodopa doesn't appear to have any positive impact on anxiety, and may indeed make worse by affecting Serotonin and NE levels!

What if there's no single cure for everyone?
What this suggests to me is that it may be very difficult to find treatments that slow, stop, or cure the disease(s), because whatever combination of medications, supplements, or types of healthy activities (such as exercise or
meditation
), benefit one individual might not help another with a different

My mental health is getting worse day by day, and I have no one with whom I can share my problems.
I try to calm my mind by doing
meditation
, but to no avail. My mental health is getting worse day by day, and I have no one with whom I can share my problems.

what to do?
a few months ago, I finally decided to try
meditation
, specifically C/L. I had no reaction to instant release, so we tried titrating up on CR C/L 25/100. I got up to 2 pills three times a day. I was on this dose 3-4 weeks and I happened to have a neurologist appointment.

Meditation... how does it help you. I can see the short-term value in it for calming and relaxation but I do not get the long-term value.
I know about
meditation
I've attempted
meditation
I find it can be difficult because of interruptive anxious thoughts. I can meditate for a short while. But I never seem to keep it up keep it going.

Deep breathing
For those experienced in
meditation
, follow your regular routine. Engaging in deep breathing can quiet your thoughts, decelerate your heartbeat, and alleviate stress. It enhances your ability to concentrate. With each inhalation, envision positive energy entering your body.

Do you take anti anxiety meds? Which have helped you?
However, my anxiety has been sky high for some time now and it’s preventing me from living a normal life (despite exercising, eating well, doing
meditation
and hypnotherapy etc).

Why do I run?
What about running for joy, happiness, wellbeing, healthiness, being social, having space for oneself,
meditation
, discovering new places, getting outside, challenging ourselves and making ourselves better people.

Relationship with meditation
Has anyone ever had problems treating
meditation
as a rumination or a way to "figure" things out. I really wanna be able to have a healthy relationship with my
meditation
practices but not sure if I can.. any suggestions?

How do I tune this out?
I’ve done a mindfulness course and use
meditation
to relax when needed, been fitted with hearing aids, use sound masking as necessary and taken up some volunteering.

Seeking to connect, share, support and heal this anxiety
I also have a daily
meditation
practice. Lately, it has, at the end of a sitting, resulted in a sudden onset of anxiety, fear and/or loneliness. I believe it is my unconscious bringing things to the surface, especially around my loneliness.

sleep DEPRIVED
Does anyone have any last piece of advice I can try 🥲 I have tried sleep
meditation
, trying to think positive (it’s a little hard at the moment), relaxing techniques, sleep hygiene…..sleeping meds…..at this rate I’d prefer if someone just knocked me out for a day or two to catch up on sleep.

Thinking in Circles on Treatment and Medication
Whether it is through
meditation
, study under a guru or some other mechanism there is an underlying reality which is physical. Whether drug or mentally induced reduction of felt pain a broken bone or worn out joint will continue to do damage until fixed regardless of how much pain we feel.

How to Cope
Things like mindfulness/
meditation
and breathing exercises aren't helpful for me. I get so stuck even after the initial triggering settles. I fall into deep depression over all I've been through.
