✨ Just some ideas on how to make the most of something that sucks and can be very isolating and lonely ✨

*depending on what you can do that day x

• Quality time with loved ones

• Getting a new pet or spending more quality time with yours.

• Developing a self care routine

• Free adult learning courses, online courses, college, qualifications

• Reading, Audiobooks, expanding your knowledge and interests

• Starting a side hustle, service or business

• Mind mental health workshops

• NHS Stop Smoking Service (self referral) 10-12 week program where they supply you with stop smoking products and incredible support and knowledge about quitting smoking.

• Discounted swimming/ gym memberships in some areas

• Support groups and meet-ups

• Charity work, fundraising, promotion of charities you believe in

• Getting sponsored by a Charity to do something wild for example, skydiving

• Finally picking up that hobby you're so passionate about

• Getting creative

• Soul searching, therapy or refining and curating your life, deciding what you want and like

• Considering new ideas and challenging old beliefs

• Meeting new people in support groups or the courses you try

• Facetiming people more

• Pamper/ Spa days, you can also do at home. Maybe even get a foot bath

• Exploring a new style, new hair or a little make over in the way you wear it

• Watching videos of people going for beautiful walks or touring areas you're curious about

• Comedy

• Holistic therapies (great excuse for a massage and some essential oils as well)

• Having a clear out or reorganising

• Trying new foods or recipes

• Practising and developing the skill of mindfulness or meditation

• Buy yourself flowers 💐

Just on the learning, I find the Duolingo app for learning languages really good. It is free with adverts, or you can pay a subscription, if you get into it. They have loads of languages and you can do it entirely at your own pace.

You have lots of great ideas in your list xx
