My best tips for living with asthma
I've noticed that when many people talk about managing their asthma, they name their medicines. I'd never tell anyone to chuck their medicine, and I don't want to decry that approach, but mine differs. I don't mean to sound holier-than-thou either. In a pinch, I'd reach for my rescue inhaler. However

OCD - Supplements
Anyone try any supplements for OCD/anxiety? I’ve taken herbal supplements for other issues and they’ve helped so wondering if anyone has tried some for these “issues”.

Yervoy update for Stage 4 after Keytruda
My husband was scheduled for the final and 4th round of Yervoy on Friday, but because of the GI side effects and taking 80 mg of prednisone daily to control the inflammation our melanoma oncologist determined that 3 treatments would have to suffice. At first we were surprised, having literally girded

Ibrutinib linked to invasive fungal infections

Now Ibrutinib has also been linked, fortunately prophylaxis is available and risks may be evaluated based on CD-4 T-cell levels. Talk to your CLL specialist to make certain this has been

Are you sepsis aware?
Unfortunately I have just witnessed a dear friend of mine almost die from sepsis. I don’t want to frighten any of you but I thought it would be best to share some of the experience here, as he was recently prescribed immune suppressants!!!!! The illness started with a very sore throat. Unable to eat

Sometimes cold sores drive me up the wall
I have been on Afinitor and Exemestane for a couple months and herbal supplements for alternative treatment. I have developed cold sores in my mouth. I have used all the usual over the counter things to help with the discomfort. Doc gave me a liquid compound that has banophen, masanti and lidocaine in

Hypothyroid - recently diagnosed and scared
I'm new! This is my first post here... Since January after stopping the mini-pill and breastfeeding my daughter, I started getting really bad heart palpitations, persistent cough and dry scalp. I sadly lost a second pregnancy in May after 8 weeks. Fast forward to today after over about 8 doctors,

My Journey With RLS, Experience With Kratom
Hi! First time posting, but wanted to share my experience because I'm kind of on top of the world right now! I have battled RLS for many years, and imagine like most have felt helpless at times, felt like no one understands what it really is and won't take it seriously, and have spent countless hours

Medicinal herbs as cure?
Hi All, DOES ANYONE BELIEVE THIS? KEEP SCROLLING SORRY COULD NOT LINKIFY. X Doesn’t it seem strange how we can be so technologically advanced as a culture yet so stressed out and unhealthy? Healthy lifestyle and diet are certainly a part of it, but we’ve felt for a while that there’s something miss

RLS, PLMD, and Essential Tremors
I have been diagnosed with all three neurological disorders and have learned several things that might be helpful to other sufferers.: 1. These are neurological disorders and are best treated by neurologists. Most GP’s and PCP’s are not current on best practices for treatment of neurological disorders
