How can I recover from Bulimia?
Eighteen years of torture from my 'bully' has left me completely dysfunctional, exhausted and hating life (I am now 36). I have no life; all I ever do is binge, purge and panic. I cannot stop. I have tried everything; counselling, CBT, Anti-depressants, self help, distraction techniques. This grip it

Marriage Trouble
My husband and I haven’t been doing well for most of our 5+ years of marriage. My mom has always said that we are both needy but he more than I. If that’s true then it’s really bad. I have depression and anxiety (need) I don’t make enough money to support myself (need) I don’t want to be alone

Feeling better but marriage problems
It was terribly frustrating for her, we tried some
marriage
counseling
that didn't work out (she stormed out of our final session), and she just seemed to get angrier at me with each passing day. I continued to spiral downward, eventually recognizing I was deeply depressed.

Any advice?
Hello my name is ruby, I’m 19 years old. I have been suffering with endometriosis ever since I was 13 and the doctors were so sure that it couldn’t be that because of my age, finally when I turned 17 after doing everything else that wasn’t a surgery they did a laparoscopic procedure on me to find out

never stopping
My daughter is 19, severely depressed. She has one friend who is depressed also, her other friend killed himself just over a year ago. She has never has a boyfriend, she is lonely and tells me hundreds of times a week, mostly at night time that she wants to die. Tonight she asked me to get her a knife

Support for 27yr old niece
Hello. I am posting on behalf of my 27y niece who has mild autism, OCD, clinical paranoia, very low self esteem and often swings between anger and depression. She has recently moved to the Skipton area from the South and lives with her mum. She has had a couple of lovely work opportunities i.e. packing

Nobody Understands
Been suffering in silence dealing with mental illness for years & now at the age of 23, I finally reached out & got real help. I’m now in a respite as a result & my few friends that I have are supportive but they still don’t understand. They tell me to keep a positive outlook but it’s difficult for me

Considering medication
Hiya! I'm new here :). I'm 24 years old, I've had underlying depression and anxiety for about the last 10 years. Throughout that time I've tried counselling, CBT and psychotherapy. I'm currently seeing someone for counselling but I feel as though at this point perhaps I should start to consider medication

We are in a better place
Have not been here in a while. My daughter is now 13 and we are dealing with ADHD. She continues taking Daytrana patches for focus during school, but we are dealing with ADHD outside of school without any meds. She still has anger outbursts however they are few and far between, she is a severe procrastinator
