Been suffering in silence dealing with mental illness for years & now at the age of 23, I finally reached out & got real help. I’m now in a respite as a result & my few friends that I have are supportive but they still don’t understand. They tell me to keep a positive outlook but it’s difficult for me. I can’t just feel better. I’m receiving counseling services here but I’m on this message board looking for people who are going thru similar things to help me as needed when counseling isn’t available. Some of the issues I live with are major depression, bipolar disorder, & anxiety.
