RBC Magnesium test (not Serum)
I am trying to find a home blood test for RBC
Magnesium
(as the serum test is inaccurate due to most of the
magnesium
being in your muscles and bones). I have read that too little
magnesium
may be connected to Afib. Does anyone know of a company in the UK that does this RBC
Magnesium
test?

magnesium supplements
I have read a few places that
magnesium
is a good element to take as a supplement. Does anyone have any recommendations for what type of supplement or
magnesium
compound/mixture is best? Any ideas most welcome.

Celebrex and Curcumin and Magnesium.
I take curcumin and
magnesium
to buffer effects on heart. 2800mg of Celebrex and 400 mg of
magnesium
. The
magnesium
and the 10 mg of zinc along with 72 ounces on non caffeinated liquids helps prevent kidney stones. Curcumin is high in oxylates which can cause kidney stones.

Metallic taste in mouth from Magnesium?
Aside from daily propafenone tablets for my PAf, I do take
magnesium
(glycinate) supplement 2 times a day, 2 × 125mg so well below the maximum recommended dose. I've been taking them for a month now, but I'm wondering if
magnesium
is the reason for this strange 'burned tongue" taste.

how to cope
anyway I weened off them but my legs are still restless and I take
magnesium
glycinate along with
magnesium
lotion. I have not so good nights and awful nights and affects my sleep and I’m a carer for my son so I don’t work but I don’t think I’d cope working with no sleep.

Vitamins with ADT?
I am on daily Casodex, has been for several years, and I am taking - Multivitamins, C-, D-, K- vitamins and
magnesium
daily. Should I stop this? Can you elaborate a bit on why you do not recommend taking vitamins? Thanks in advance!

Been advised by a fellow runner to try a supplement of

Pregnacare
I'm looking to add
magnesium
& zinc into my supplement library. Pregnacare looks like it has very low doses of everything anyway. Can someone recommend a folic acid that I should take? I'm thinking of just taking everything I need individually to save me buying them as well.
